Papa Saverio's Pizzeria — Restaurant in Batavia Township

Honestly, we’ve been ordering pizza from this establishment for months to even a few years now. Especially during this time, we continued to support them as they are a local business. Never had an issue, until today, when we ordered pizza and it came out burnt. I called them, and the owner said that I “NEED” to bring them the pizza today (keep in mind, it is now 7:20PM Sunday) in order to get a replacement. Everyone has already eaten an alternative meal to the pizza we’ve ordered. I did NOT request for a refund, but simply, make it right and replace it with what anyone would expect: a not burnt pizza. The owner was adamant about having me go out of my way to bring the pizza back TODAY. My answer is simple as this, no. No, I will not go out of my way and drive back 25/20 minutes at 7:20pm on a Sunday so that I can get a replacement for the pizza that I have already paid for. I offered to make a compromise and send them a picture with a time stamp of the burnt pizza they allowed to be served and picked up. The owner said, no. Bring the pizza back TODAY. Honer you online pricing or fix it. I try to order a Pappa Saverio’s XL double dough price came up to $33 with change including tax. I was not happy that online order didn’t work for it didn’t take my coupon of free 12in cheese with any large or bigger pizzas. I called them for my orde I was told $40.00 plus tax and said why is different than the online order. They told management didn’t change pricing so that is why they can’t give me my online order pick up. I told was told the guy to change the order to something else for I won’t pay that much for one pizza with promotion coupon. I changed it to one topping instead with coupon. I ended up $30 something with change. Pizza was okay the price It was not worth paying and keep in mind this was pick up order. Everything got to pricey pizza and wings used to be reasonable now this? I will stick to Domino’s I won’t be dealing bait and switch. The promotion and online price was never online only order pricing. Find someone else for better pizza. You need to fix your Chicago style looks like that pizza the others are talking about with pic. Papa Saverio's on Kirk Rd catered my rehearsal dinner earlier this month. We wanted an informal dinner and this place was recommended to us. My husband and I had never eaten there before, or heard of it, and we were a little hesitant to try a new place for an important event. This place was AMAZING. Incredible customer service, they delivered exactly right on time (with plates, napkins, silverware), and they even included a very sweet personal heart shaped note along with a heart shaped pizza (that we did not order, it was a bonus gift from them) for us to celebrate our wedding. We were blown away with how great they were. Super thrilled with how thorough they were (we placed our order weeks before the event but when we called to confirm it was all set the week of, they knew exactly where our order sheet was and confirmed easily and quickly for us), and what outstanding customer service they had.
