Wilson Street Tavern — Restaurant in Batavia Township

This is the definition of old time bar except for the games. It has a few TV's for sports but not a sports bar by any stretch. Good cold beer selection and really good staff. This is the kind of place where locals go to hang out and talk about stuff. On Sundays, people bring food and share it for free for the football games. It is small but it has a great atmosphere, especially if you want to enjoy your fellow man/woman. There is a public parking lot nearby and there is a backdoor so you don't have to walk around to the front. All in all, it's a great place to get a drink/beer and mingle and talk. Absolutely great place to go have a drink. The place is well kept and very welcoming. The overall atmosphere is a strong mix of "regulars" and anyone that walks in. My friend and I came here for a couple glasses of wine. The crowd picking the music on the jukebox was great. The volume of the place was great for clearly being a local hotel spot.
