LaRosa's Pizza Batesville — Restaurant in Batesville

Really disappointed evening of 6/24/22. Two of us went for dinner, love LaRosas’s and hadn’t been in to eat there in over a year. Guy who seated us gave us a table and chairs even tho plenty of booths available, and when my husband tried to ask him about it, he had put out menus on the table and was already down the aisle and gone. Waitress was Savannah - we ordered pretzel bits and cheese, which she said would be right out. Next thing we knew, she put out food in front of us. I asked about the pretzel bites (we had wanted to eat them while waiting for our pizzas). She laughed and said she’d “seen them back there,” then brought them out. I was eating pizza, needed more napkins than just the one my utensils were wrapped in, looked all over for Savannah, no luck, so I got up and went to the counter and asked for some. We both finished our drinks and wanted refills but did not see Savannah until she plopped our bill in front of my husband while he was eating and said he could pay her right then or meet her at the cash register. So he stopped eating and paid her, we got boxes for the rest and left. Two other servers taking care of people around us looked over at us several times, my husband hoped they noted our drinks and would tell Savannah or something but no luck. She did not appear to have any other tables. Too many issues. We love LaRosa’s but the incredibly bad service drops our rating from what could easily have been a 5. And we probably won’t be...

The food was okay, the service was horrible. It took over 20 minutes after we ordered before our waiter brought our drinks to us! Then the salad and appetizer came out about two minutes before the main course, so we're all trying to arrange things on the table to accommodate multiple plates. The appetizer (Rondos...highly recommended, they were the best thing we had all night) were fresh from the over...but the main courses were barely warm. I think the waiter forgot to put in the appetizer and was holding our food in the back until the apps were done. One adult and one child had a spaghetti special that they would bring you more if you wanted...the waiter never came around and asked if we wanted more of anything.

We then waited nearly 10 minutes after he'd cleared the table for him to bring us the check, but he was still missing in action. We finally walked up to where you check out and the manager had to go find "Zippy the Wonder Waiter" to get our check from him.

My family has eaten here many times. The food is very good if it's served hot and fresh, but if you have a bad waiter, the food will be lukewarm and not...

As always the food was great. The service was awful. We showed up on Sat afternoon around 5:15. The hostess seemed to be more interested in finishing her conversation with a co-worker than talking with us. We got seated. There were a handful of people at the restaurant. Not busy at all. She took our drink order. She came back 3 times without my girlfriends beer. Finnaly someone else brought it out. We had at the beginning asked for an appetizer. We waited forever for that. My girl ask for another drink. 10 min later someone else comes out with the wrong beer. She never came back. After waiting another 10 min, I ask for help again. Then our food came out. 1 large and 2 kids pizzas. Well one of the kids pizzas wasn't right. Again I had to flag down our waitress. Her response. I can take it off your bill or it will take an hour to make over. Really. Ok what is my son supposed to eat. The rest of us have food. I mean really everyone eats. Is food service that hard...
