I had the pleasure of dining at Hunam Garden-Lima, and I can confidently say that it was an exceptional experience! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm and friendly customer service that made me feel right at home. The staff was attentive and genuinely seemed to care about ensuring that my meal was enjoyable.
Now, let's talk about the food! The flavors were absolutely amazing. Each dish was cooked to perfection, showcasing the rich and vibrant tastes that Chinese cuisine is known for. I was particularly impressed with the sesame chicken, which was a hit with my one-year-old—no small feat considering how picky toddlers can be! The fried rice was equally delightful, and I found myself savoring every bite.
While the restaurant's decor may be on the older side, the incredible food and outstanding service easily blind you to that. It’s clear that Hunam Garden-Lima prioritizes quality over aesthetics, and I truly appreciate that.
Another highlight was the pricing. Compared to other Chinese restaurants in major cities, Hunam Garden-Lima offers fantastic value for the quality of food you receive. It’s refreshing to find a place where you can enjoy a delicious meal without breaking the bank.
I left the restaurant feeling delighted and satisfied, and I can't wait to return. If you're looking for flavorful food and excellent customer service at a reasonable price, Hunam Garden-Lima is the place to go! Highly...
Read moreIt was meh. Edible but nothing to write home about.
The kung pao chicken was swimming and bland, not spicy in the slightest.
The 6 of us could barely tell the difference between the general tso's and the orange chicken... It was subtle, like using vs not using bay leaf in a pot roast.
The hot and sour soup was quite good, added some pepper flakes to it since it was more savory and sour, but definitely worth buying again.
The fried squid was the first thing gone, even the youngun's loved it and my brother (who doesn't eat seafood) said it was good. Tender and perfectly breaded and fried, not rubbery at all.
The vegetable lo mein and fried were standard fare, exactly as you'd expect them to taste.
The crab rangoons were cream cheese and chives rangoons, like what you get at Panda Express.
The teriyaki chicken on a stick was definitely the highlight. Those were bomb af.
My sister in law was the only one who tried everything except the squid and said that her egg roll was the only thing she'd eat again but that it was very delicious.
The takeaway? Get the side dishes, not the main courses. Seems to be what they're best at. Well, minus the rangoons, those...
Read moreI would actually seriously debate this one to me I've shared years of memories there with my kids they grew up and still go there themselves being here since 1995 tells you something in itse6but more so that they've kept there menu genuine, authentic, and at a low price and if you get a meal it's actually a second later fs they have helpings..Either drive thru or eat in there fast and it's hot and very very did I say very cuz I feel like it still wasn't enough FRESH I will only eat a few places in Lima idk if it's just so true to Human by the country or just there family's style of dining but the sauces are thick no watered down stuff. I suggest the sweet and sour chicken usually everyone loves that for 12$ dinner special comes with a soup of choice and both are amazing and egg roll with a sample of the best crab rangoon around here...they also have a house Bobo, it samples all there amazing appetizers. That you've never tasted any of...
