Wow! Best goat I've had in a long time.

This is a dive place, tucked away in a small strip center, on airline at cedarcrest. Next to a lock shop, and a very good donut shop. Same center as Cedarcrest lounge.

The dish is called birria de chivo.

Very tender morsels of goat, with fresh avocado slices, cilantro, and onion, which made the dish bright. I highly recommend this dish. It was like a super wow tortilla soup. If you aren't familiar with goat, it is similar to beef with a slight lamb twist.

The red salsa had an excellent smoky flavor and was medium plus on the spice level.

The verde or green sauce was fresh authentic and was spicy on the spice level.

I should have ordered some chips. The sauces came with the meal.

I tried the asada soft taco as an appetizer. The meat was fresh, and so were the veggies.

Goat spoiler: Looking for a hole-in-the-wall place for some authentic Hispanic food then look no further. I split the Birria de Chivo (goat soup) and an order of street tacos with my wife. The tacos and sauces were amazing. The goat soup.. here's the deal. The soup was good, and certain parts of the meat were good, but... there were some sketchy meat things too. Testicles? Maybe. Weird fatty things, yes. I love to venture out of my bubble and try new things, but the goat soup proved to be too far out for me. Maybe if I grew up eating those things I could appreciate them more. But I did not, and some of the textures were more than I could stomach. However, the soup base and a lot of the ingredients were really good. It's just the unknown meaty stuff that did me in. I would definitely get the tacos again though. Well...

At first, my family and I really enjoyed this place, but the last several times we have been, our order has been incorrect partially or wholly.

Not only that, but the lady who has been taking the orders always seems to have a bad attitude like she just hates customers or something.

It's too far away for us to go all the way back over there and try to exchange the food, and trying to get a refund seems like it would be impossible from that lady.

Today, I ordered 6 steak asado tacos and 6 chicken birria tacos with no onions. What I received was all chicken tacos and onions on everything. Pretty annoyed because I was craving Steak street tacos and that's what I paid for but didn't get.
