Love this place!!! Awesome in store customer service and quality products!! After my dad passed away in October 2015, my daughter and I moved in with my mom. We had to have new furniture. The first thing we bought from there was a beautiful bedroom set for my daughter. She absolutely adores it!! Delivery was fast (same day) and the guys that set up her furniture were highly efficient and extraordinarily professional!! We knew then we would be repeat customers!!
We looked all over for a new living room set and could not find anything we liked. So, of course we went back to Furniture Expo. Once again, excellent in store customer service!!! We purchased the new set that we liked and we are still enjoying it. The quality is exceptional and extremely comfortable!! We had no idea that it would look so huge in our living room, but so perfect at the same time!!
While we were there, my mother decided to downgrade to a queen sized bedroom set. Which looks so elegant and classy in her bedroom!! She picked what she liked out and placed the order for the living room set and bedroom set.
We have an extremely small dining area, so we also purchased a little small bistro table, that fits perfect in our little nook dining area.
And since they had to order these pieces of furniture, we only had to wait less than 2 weeks for the order to be placed, delivered to the store, and then delivered to us. Never had any problems getting our products and never had any problems with the guys at the store! We have always dealt with Matt, and he is a pretty awesome guy!!
Again delivery and set up (not same day) were exceptional! I have no idea how these 2 guys get this furniture in a house that has such narrow doors without getting any scratches!! They are beyond courteous and professional!
Most people don't realize when you're at a furniture store looking at furniture, everything is really close together so it looks small to you. But believe me, once you get it in your own home, you are quite pleasantly surprised!!!
I would absolutely recommend Furniture Expo for your...
Read moreTL;DR: BEWARE — Furniture Expo sold me a mold-infested dresser and then tried to charge me to fix their mistake. Consider supporting ANY OTHER local business but this one!! If I could give them 0 stars, I would.
I was looking for a dresser and wanted to support a local business. At first, Furniture Expo seemed like the right choice — the staff were friendly and accommodating, which gave me confidence in my purchase. Unfortunately, trusting this business turned out to be my BIGGEST mistake.
When I brought home the dresser, it looked ok from the outside but reeked of mildew the moment I unboxed it. At first I thought it might need to air out, but once I pulled out the drawers, I discovered mold growing inside!!
I immediately called the store and got the manager (Matt), who actually tried to blame ME for the mold. Eventually, he offered a refund or exchange — but only if I returned the dresser myself.
I had just moved and didn’t have a vehicle to haul it back. Still, he was VERY insistent that the dresser had to be returned to the store because he “didn’t want to lose out on money” and needed to send it back to the manufacturer for reimbursement. At the same time, he refused to pick it up unless I paid a $150 pickup fee — which also included a cancellation charge.
In other words, whether I paid for return transport or gave up and accepted the loss, he still benefited. He showed no concern for how unfair this was to me, even though I was the one stuck with a defective, moldy product from his store.
It was completely unreasonable and unacceptable! I was sold a HEALTH HAZARD and then expected to cover additional costs to resolve THEIR mistake!!!
Only after weeks of back-and-forth emails — and threatening a credit card dispute and legal action — did they finally issue a refund.
Please, save yourself the stress, the money, and the possible respiratory issues! Shop anywhere else. These people don’t deserve...
Read moreLove the selection, the customer service and the fact they use your job history and not your credit to approve you (especially if you're rebuilding your credit). However, I'm very disappointed that they switched/convinced me to use Kornerstone instead of who I used before (Acima). After a year of paying Kornerstone, I just realized/was informed that they do not report to the credit bureaus which is messed up when you've been making on time bi weekly payments for a year! But I bet if I misses one payment, it would have been reported. I guess thats the price you pay when getting credit without them using your credit. If you need furniture and have a stable work history, bank account but in the process of rebuilding your credit, this is the place to go that has excellent customer service and high...
