Carnival Mart — Local services in Baton Rouge

I came in today, and have never been so humiliated in public. Walking into this store I found a dollar in the parking lot walking towards the door. It had been sitting there, no one was even close to the one dollar bill. I repeat a crumpled ONE DOLLAR BILL. As I’m shopping I go to check out spending nearly a bill on throws and this blonde girl had the audacity to ask me for the dollar back claiming it was her co workers who had left awhile ago… Btw I didn’t realize people got tipped in a Mardi Gras shop. The lady hovering over her agreed to this horrible behavior. I was in shock that this business would be so desperate to ask a costumer for money that they had found in the parking lot cause they were clearly watching me through the window. The blonde girl was so rude and had an awful attitude racist attitude when I was handing her the dollar feeling soo embarrassed told her it was just sitting in the parking lot. She had chuckled as if I had stole it and was lying. The way she asked for the dollar was so rude I only gave to her cause clearly she needed the dollar more than me. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. Terrible experience here! My girlfriend was demanded to hand over a dollar she picked up in the parking lot when she was checking out. The cashier claimed it was her co-worker’s tip. The specialty beads were low in inventory and the prices were definitely higher than a couple of other stores we visited.
