From his professional demeanor to that firm, respectable handshake (which commands instant respect), he delivers top-tier service with effortless charm. You can tell he takes genuine pride in what he does, and it shows. Passionate, attentive, and ridiculously good at his job—Ayush is the kind of server that makes you want to tip like a Rockefeller.

I visited gunpowder Indian restaurant on May 20th and ordered two dishes - masala dosa and mushroom Manchurian. The staff were friendly and polite, and the mushroom Manchurian arrived quickly. Soon the masala dosa was also served. The mushroom Manchurian was quite disappointing as I couldn’t find any bite-sized chunks of mushroom in it. It seemed like there were only slivers of shriveled mushroom in the fried batter. I asked the manager at the restaurant if they used dehydrated mushrooms in the Manchurian but was told that they used fresh pieces of mushroom - which I didn’t find in any piece - and deep fried them. The masala dosa itself was tasty, but the two chutneys and the potato based masala was all very gloopy - likely because they were blended with a industrial blender into a fine puree, which ruins the texture of the chutney and the masala. Fairly decent restaurant with good service. You would think the price is slightly on the higher side, but the portion of the food makes up for it...lots to take home. The taste is authentic. Be prepared to wait a long time for your food and it wasn't busy when we were there. It's in college town and great for the students. Nothing fancy or romantic or highly decorated. The food was delicious and prepared for each order. The menu is packed with all sorts of delicious selections. Goat, lamb, vegetarian and vegan options, yogurt drinks, cottage cheese, tofu. Two negatives: the waitress with the long hair that draped over our cups (thank God she didn't send the food) and the intense, headache inducing incense they lit that overpowered the flavors of food (thank goodness our meal was almost over, but ruined dessert). I ordered paneer makhani, really delicious. Recommended and...
