I went at 8pm on a Sunday evening and apparently the wrong time to go bc the line took for-eh-vur! We were literally waiting for 45 min before we made it to the speaker to order but we didn't have anywhere else to go and my 8yo really wanted McDonald's. The only thing ordered was a nugget happy meal and the line went pretty quickly once we made it that far. The cashier wasn't at her spot though and if much more space came between me and the car before me I would've drove to the next window. She came just as my foot was coming off the brake (maybe she had to run to the restroom). She was super sweet though and even wished us a Happy Easter. But disappointment quickly erased any positive vibes I was feeling bc when I was handed my daughters happy meal I specifically asked if the sauce was in the box. I received a confident nod 'yes' so I accepted the meal and went on my way. We didn't get 2 miles down the road before my precious little girl notifies me that there was no sauce in her box. (Are you kidding me McDonald's...smh) Thankfully my oldest was running through a different McDonald's and picked my youngest up some sauce but really?? You had us wait 45 min for this?! By the time she finally got her sauce she was no longer hungry. However, even though I'm ranting now we're still going to be loyal customers. We will just not be choosing this particular one as our first choice. But with all of the negatives stacked against them on this particular visit, the cashier at the first window was the saving grace. She's the only reason I decided to give 3 stars, and all bc she wished us a simple...
Read moreLiterally the worst McDonald's in Baton Rouge. I DO NOT recommend going here if you want to actually eat or go home within a reasonable hour. Numerous times, my fiance and I have gone here anywhere between 10pm-1am, because it's the closest one open 24 hours...BIG MISTAKE. Every time we've been there, the service has been so slow that we'd be waiting for up to an hour just trying to tell the people at the speaker we have a mobile order, if you get past that stage, you now have to wait another 30 minutes per car that's ahead of you because they're taking many many breaks and having a blast ignoring orders. By the time it gets to you, there's another long wait, and they still forget some of your stuff, and have the audacity to act upset with you asking for your food. Going in this place has to be a headache for no reason, too. They see you at the register, even if you've already paid, and completely ignore you, walk past you, and sometimes even try to completely skip you in line as if you haven't been patiently waiting. The managers and all the young people are a problem, they act like a bunch of children in middle school that constantly want to fight a customer. Last night, we waited at the speaker for 45 minutes, and had to cancel our mobile order, when we drove to the window, the people were just walking around on phones, while one young woman slowly tossed fries. I wouldnt waste my...
Read moreThe worst McDonald’s I have ever been to. The staff, including management, were totally clueless as to how the restaurant’s new mobile ordering app actually worked and were unable to troubleshoot a problem I had in adding a payor source. To make it worse, I was there for approximately 45 minutes simply trying to place an order that took advantage of the chain’s app tied “deals.” Ultimately, the best that could be done was for me to place my order the old-fashioned way at the register. To my amazement, then cashier proceeded to argue with me when, after the order was input, the total was significantly higher than if I have been able to use the mobile application. I refused to pay the higher amount and was informed that “you can’t get the app to work so you can’t get the (discount.)” I was confident that the manager would fix things. As it turned out, I was wrong. I asked for the entire meal to b comped given the length of time spent and frustration with the staff. I thought I was going to receive that however, I did not. Without saying a word or barely distance need out of your own unique subtracted two or three dollar remodel turned around and went back into the kitchen. Needless to say the next time I find myself Baton Rouge, I will not be visiting that...
