We had a really hard time to find public parking. Finally, we got into the public parking and pay $10 dollar for half day. There is a track on the side of river which is good for quick walk and roam around riverfront. There is historical war museum as well. We could not make it because it was closed for a day. It is good place to snaps picture and spend few hours with friends and family. The cool breezes from the river also add adventure of your time. You will definitely enjoy your time here.

This is a great location for walking, running or perhaps a picnic with family and friends, as well as taking pics. We recently visited here and thoroughly enjoyed the area. The only issue is that were were slightly taken back by an individual who was on one of the benches and was yelling and harrassing bypassers, including us as we walked by. There was also someone who was passed out in the main fountain in their underwear, which was interesting to say the least.

Photos from Christmas 2018 but the area is still shown. We did a church outreach function down there the other day and it was nice out. A little chilly with the wind coming off of the river but the sun was out and it wasn't muddy. A great winter day for Louisiana. The construction seems mostly done down around the Rivercenter...just with there was more bathroom access. We ended up using the Library's facilities up the hill.

is awesome an the Rivers high soon as we cross over the leavitt over there behind the the Bell parking lot we looked over in the water which was up about 10 ft before the top of the levee and there was a freaking 10-foot alligator swear to God we got video of it we posted it and everything so yeah 10-foot alligator over there right now running around in the Mississippi River so there are alligators in the Mississippi River if anybody ever asks that question that is your answer and I will post this video and several other pictures you know of the leisure time that we had out there and you can figure it out for yourself so...

Great place to visit. Not enough of the locals take advantage of this. The only negative I have is I wish the walkway on top of the levee went all the way to the end of the levee at the North end. Instead it just stops a hundred yards short and becomes gravel and grass, rough walking, so I tried to walk down the side to get out of the gravel and ended falling all the way down the the street and sidewalk and broke my foot! Bad! So a nice day at the levee and pier ended very bad. Other than that it was a very nice day on the...

The Riverfront is a wonderful place for enjoying a beautiful day outside. It features nice walkways and paved pathways that are enjoyable for walking, jogging, and exploring the area at your leisure.
