Visited this place for first time located on one of the busiest Streets in downtown Baton Rouge. I ordered the Burger and fry combo, because I'm always looking for a good burger joint; guess I'm just down-home American. This place appeared to only have two employees: a cook and cashier. The meal was nothing special, pretty much something I could done better myself at home. The fries were seasoned well. I wanted to add a salad but lettuce was not Romaine; in addition to lacking variety in toppings. Although I requested Dine-In, the meal was provided in a to-go styrofoam tray which appear to be standard. I guess this place is good for those on the go and have few options. After inquiring, I was notified that the menu provided to me was not accurate pricing so I personally made changes on sheet provided to me. This place appear to try making a quick buck for charging a "pretty penny" for simple meals. On top of that, when the cashier attempted to assist with menu; the cook interrupted her and said help him in back when the restaurant had nothing but one order. I felt this was rude and disrespectful to a customer. Also, I overheard the cook insulting a customer about whether or not it was their first time dining at that place. I will not return to this place. Not worth my money nor do I support bigotry, poor customer service and/or ill-mannered employees-people.

I literally want to go back for more while writing this review! I was skeptical at first because it was a ghost town inside but I gave it a go anyway! As soon as me and my mom walked up to the counter, the cashier handed us a plate of shrimp to taste and I knew at that moment, this was a good decision. I had a huge shrimp po boy with fries and a salad. It was soo good and they even gave me an extra box of shrimp! I highly recommend!

Stopped in with my 3yo after visiting the museum. Got the mixed plate and everything was hot, the fish filets were huge and cooked perfectly. Perfect portions we were able to share and have leftovers to snack on later. My only complaint was how small the establishment is, it's standing room only and seating is limited. Not uncommon for downtown establishments, everything else was exceptional.

I wish I could give this place a 0 rating. HORRIBLE customer service!!! I waited about 30 mins for a grilled shrimp salad, when I finally got it left for about 5 minutes ate no more than 3 bites decided to call because the plate was skimpy, the shrimp were burned, and they gave me the stem of the lettuce, my plate had huge pieces of hard lettuce that I couldn’t eat. I paid 15$ for this salad So I called and I could hear the owner telling the young lady that I was speaking with in his words “tell her just throw those pieces away” once I heard him say that I asked to speak with him, this man hung the phone up in my face. I called back and asked the young lady who answered the phone did he just hang up on me, the young lady said yea and apologized.. I brought the salad back and told him I wanted a refund. The owner got furious, opened my plate, picked up the salad with his hands, and caused a scene. He yelled that I ate all the food, yelled that I ate all the shrimp. Might I remind you, the plate was skimpy and I literally maybe ate 3 bites. My intentions were never to bring the salad back I just called to make them aware that I wasn’t happy with my salad. Instead of the owner making things right he got furious and yelled at me. Then he didn’t want to give me mg full refund, said that I ate 5$ worth of food and tried giving me $10 back! I couldn’t believe he treated me this way. This wasn’t my first time eating there, I’d actually go maybe once a week to get the grilled shrimp salad because the location is convenient for me… the young lady even knows my name when I order… This man followed me out of his restaurant, recording me, yelling. SO UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!! HORRIBLE...

Such a little gem!

My husband got the burger and I got the shrimp po boy and also a side of fried oysters. The shrimp and oysters were so fresh and crispy. The poboy was huge and they didn’t skimp on the shrimp! We’re from Texas and it’s so hard to get fresh delicious seafood like this! My husband says the burger is delicious and perfectly prepared with plenty of cheese and meat seasoned well. I wasn’t able to take a picture because we ate it all already oops!

The service was excellent! There wasn’t anyone at the restaurant when we arrived but the man behind the counter offered us a shrimp to sample and was extremely friendly and happily answered our many questions about the menu! They didn’t list poboys on the menu but it was on their front sign and we ordered it no problem. Food was made to order and came out within a few minutes (although we were the only customers at the time... restaurant filled up with at least 10 more ppl as we we were eating tho)

Definitely will come here again when we’re in town or...
