What a weird and wonderful experience. There's no menu yet, so Suipi will tell you what she has, and you're going to love it. She brought us samosas, delightful little crispy fried potato pockets, and then basically asked what kind of protein we were interested in and recommended the chicken biryani.
Y'all, that is the best chicken biryani I've ever had. It came with rice and a house-made hot sauce that was the star of the show. It starts fruity, but it builds slow and it's HOT, but it warms up your head and doesn't give you indigestion. It's SO GOOD. My dad's a somewhat less adventurous eater than I am and he loved everything, especially the lentil soup she brought us at the end of the meal. She sat and talked and joked with us the whole time, and it was really nice learning about her and how she does things.
Go to Suipi's and let her make you something. I promise you'll love it. It's also VERY affordable. We had plenty of lunch with a samosa each, a cup of soup and shared the entree, and with tea it was like $15. Quit looking at reviews and take your friends,...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at Suipi’s. The food was not only well prepared but also beautifully presented on the plate. The portion sizes were generous, to the point where I couldn't finish everything on my plate.
One aspect that truly stood out was the quiet and tranquil atmosphere of the restaurant. The serene ambiance was enhanced by the soothing sounds of birds in the background, which added to the overall dining experience. I found myself effortlessly relaxed as I enjoyed my meal, allowing me to fully embrace the moment.
Despite the room's modest size, there was an ample amount of seating available.
All in all, I highly recommend making a stop at Suipi’s. I left feeling not only satisfied with the meal but also refreshed and...
Read moreEverything you could possibly want from a restaurant. The service was, bar none, some of the best service I have ever had. The food was delicious and very reasonably priced. Burmese food has influences from both Thai and Indian food, yet maintains its own flair. I love my food spicy, but those who do not will be happy to know that the heat is not mixed directly into the dish, but rather is on the side so you can tailor it to your own liking. The menu is small, but I think this is a good thing. Far better to eat at a restaurant that does a few signature dishes with excellence than have a huge selection of mediocre meals. The food portions were good. Try something new, I can't imagine you...
