I've been to this place before fir gas and food and it was fine, although I can't say that any of the staff seemed pleasant, more like they said hello because they HAVE to, and most seem to be unhappy that they are at work, or have to talk to people, or SOMETHING. I walked up to the counter to prepay for gas. It was only me and a customer that was just walking in, and perhaps a couple milling about the store. 3 women were behind the counter, standing at the one open register. 2 were regular workers and I think one was perhaps a manager, but I'm not sure. That one, and another, were discussing the schedule, and the 3rd was facing out to customers, but her head was turned to her side, listening and joining in the conversation. I stood up at the counter, waiting to pay, waiting for the employee to initiate and help me. She did not, nor did the other two say anything to me, but they did glance at me, then continued talk about covering shifts etc. I stood for a few seconds after this glance, long enough time to wear I know I was noticed, money in hand, waiting, and it was obvious they were in no hurry to greet or even look in my direction. There were no other customers in line. I finally said HI!, with a smile, and said $ on pump _ please. They all looked at me silently, the one I think is Mgr. gave a snide chuckle, looking at the other, she laughed as well, and the 3rd said nothing. When I stared back at them and made a face that asked them what was so funny, and at least, finally, the one at the register remembered she was working and smiled, taking my money and typing it into the register, while the other two just walked off. I normally dgaf about if im greeted or anything besides taking my money nicely, but just the way the reacted so rudely, as if I was intruding on thier conversation and how dare I, made me think that I'm never going back there. I'm sure they'll say they don't get paid enough to have to smile abd be courteous to everyone, but that's the JOB. Fake it til you make it. I just wanted to put gas in my vehicle and get...
Read moreAbout 10:00am -10:25am I went in to get cigarettes and ice. As I got to the counter the young man didn't make me feel welcomed, as I asked for the cigarettes he didnt ask for my ID before i handed him it to him. He just looked at the year on my ID and said "can't sell them to you. You were born in 2003." I explained to him I turned 21 earlier this year and to scan it. Thankfully he did and got my cigarettes. When I was about to leave someone else asked for cigarettes as well and they didn't even ask them and they looked the same age as me. That whole thing just ruined my mood...
Read moreCame in for pizza after estimated pick-up time to ensure that it'd be ready to go - nah, man. Watched the kid absent-mindedly roll out the dough over ten minutes while he talked to his coworker before realizing it was my pizza as I'd been standing there long enough. Started getting made ten minutes after estimated time and walked out well over an hour after the order was submitted.
I understand if it was busy, but store was wide open and hot box was empty of warm food.
Just a bummer.
P.S. - Large thin crust was made as...
