Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Bayonne

The service was absolutely horrible. It took a whole 45 minutes for them to prepare an 8in. Chocolate Chip Cookie. It really shouldn’t take long at all, I have ordered 2 of them before at a different Papa John’s and it look about 10 minutes but for some sick reason it takes them 45 minutes to prepare just ONEEE!!! To add to that, the crust of the cookie was burned.The person that took the order wasn’t even working there. The chubby lady with the blue contact lenses had a disgusting attitude to both me and my mother because of her personal problems. I’m positive that she told the people that were making the order to slow down because she has issues with my family! The nasty lady walked in like she owned the place and when she saw my mother she automatically went to the back to tell them to take a longer time. When I called and asked for the manager a few minutes later, the lady with the blue contacts’ friend answered the phone pretending that she was the manager and when I complained about the lady, she said that she doesn’t work there. I would like to start off by saying these people that work here are the epitome of rude. They might not care that I wrote this review but oh well. They have the worse wait times in history. They are either on their phones and sitting around. How they don’t know they have an order to do is beyond me. Every time they tell me it’s in the oven or they are boxing. Don’t believe it. I waited 40 minutes for an uber eats order. The time before that I waited a long time. And the time before that I waited a long time. Than they are rude about asking questions about the order. They honestly need to be shut down or a business like this needs to hire better staff. The place seems old and dinghy. And it seems like nobody knows what’s going on. Them taking to long affects people from doing what they have to do so completing a goal. Ordered from Papa John’s as an easy dinner alternative after surgery, and I’m absolutely irritated and disappointed by the excuse for a pizza that arrived. Tipped the delivery girl nicely for bringing it to my door since I couldn’t meet her downstairs. When she called upon arrival, I heard her fumbling with the box but assumed it was just the phone against the delivery bag. Turns out she dropped and fumbled my pizza before handing it over without mentioning it, which is disgraceful.

Called the shop, and they agreed to send another pizza, but it arrived cold and not properly assembled even though the shop is only six minutes away. Attached a photo showing the pizza folding in half with soggy, falling-off toppings.
