Poke Bowl — Restaurant in Bayonne

I ordered a custom poke which included ahi tuna and salmon protein. I also added corn, edamame, scallions, seaweed salad, mango, pickled ginger, masago, and avocado. Overall everything is fresh and tasted good except the spicy mayo. It wasn't spicy enough. Barely a kick. If you look at the picture, it's more like a fainted yellow/orange sauce rather than a red/orange color. That mean they didn't use enough spice to mix in with the Japanese Mayo. If the staff is reading it, I recommend adjusting the ratio. There was an option for extra spicy mayo which I'll consider getting next time. The regular spicy mayo was a disappointment.

I also ordered 3 bubble teas: Taro, Mango and Thai tea with tapioca. I highly recommend all 3. The sweetness level in the drinks are just right, and the tapioca were soft and not too chewy. It also wasn't way too sweet. Some places like to oversoak it in honey or simple syrup but this place did...

It's an okay place. Walking to it is better than trying to find a parking spot. Never had an issue except one time when I went for bubble tea and they had no Boba yet but didn't inform me they would have it in a couple hours so I got a subpar drink instead. The jelly substitute is nasty. A guy came in asking for bubble tea and got told to come back in a few when the Boba would be ready meanwhile multiple people got told no Boba at all. Ordered delivery from door dash. 0 delivery fee! Delicious food. The shrimp tempura were excellent, i think the best I had. So crisp, really great flavor and still warm after delivery and not soggy at all. Poke bowl was very tasty, I liked the bbq eel. I got a large and it was a good size. I think anything smaller wouldn’t be enough unless you’re not that hungry. Fish, veggies and fruit in it was fresh.
