Right off the top of my head I'm going to tell you 10 Stars. This was probably the best service I ever had in a restaurant. From the time I walked in the door at 7 p.m. The staff was very gracious, they are very friendly, and believe in catering to their customers. This is definitely a quality I believe in. I've worked in a restaurant it's something I do personally and it was the whole team of the Baytown Texas Outback that were going far and beyond to give the greatest service I think I've ever had. They're definitely a team, as you won't just have one person possibly to bring you something. As Mae took our order. She was really awesome to find out exactly what we wanted, she answered all my questions and spent a little time with us answering everything I needed to know about the prime rib, which was exceptional. 10 stars for the food. Mae out did herself in service and checking on us several times making sure our glasses were always full. We wanted for nothing with the wait staff. I'm giving the staff a shout-out because as a team, they really help each other out. I cannot express to you how exceptional the service was . They gave us some of the friendliest, most courteous service, they actually take time with each person and pay attention to what you're asking for or what you're wanting to know. Mae, Chris, glad to help you. I would give them 20 Stars if I could. so shout out to Mae, Chris, Sara, Lauren, Lisa, Grace, Parker & Julissa keep up the great job and I appreciate everything y'all did for me and Mike and like I said 10 stars for y'all because from the time I walked in the door to the time I left and I pester them about pictures of the staff which their pictured because I wanted to give them a great review and I wanted everyone to know they are so there's a picture of them much love and many blessings to you guys cuz you don't find a team like this very often that can work together like they do. Anyway I would tell you to come to this restaurant if you want the best service and the best food everything was great. And the atmosphere because everything runs so well and goes so well the atmosphere is just breathtaking like I can't even express the calmness and beauty of the Outback in Baytown. So as I was taking pictures of the crew they were also telling me there's 21 cameras that watch the front and the sides and the back of the parking lot so know that you are fully protected and that no one has to worry about their car or items that are in your vehicle that really made me feel better that they gave me that information to give to all of you. And besides that it was all clean they don't leave dirty tables I mean this place is what I would call Ten Star. Management you need to take them out for a dinner because as a team you have gotten great people that really care about your customers. Super shout out to Mae though totally awesome lady and wonderful waitress. The only thing I can add to this is, they have gift cards in the front of the restaurant they also have several waiting areas you're having to wait during rush hour there are places to sit. Read moreHubby and I got here about every two months. Our food always comes out hot and pretty quickly. We always get good service. There's nothing wrong with the atmosphere. We prefer to go when it's less busy. I like the furnished area out front. Personally I really like it. I'm kinda a picky eater so the foods listed below don't cover what I like there. I like the Alice spring chicken, also the grilled chicken and ribs on the barbie. The fries are seasoned really well and taste great. EDIT: Unfortunately I have to change the service. We go frequently. We always love our nights out at outback. Tonight our server was horrible. She was literally rude from the first interaction. First she got nasty with me just for asking a question about my order. Then she got rude and snippy with my husband because he wasn't quite ready to order yet, we had JUST been seated. She didn't bring any plates or napkins with our bread and appetizer. Then when I finally got up to look for some myself she got angry and rude about me asking. Even after that she walked around to every other table instead of bringing what I asked for, another server finally did it. Then when my husband salad came i asked where the dressing was. She said it was under the cheese, i asked where. You couldn't see any at all. She then rudely said we only put 3oz on the salad, which would have been fine but there was maybe two tablespoons in the entire salad, she then rudely said she'd bring more. Which again, she didn't another server did. Then again another server brought our food, which I'm aware happens if you're busy but she wasn't. The only thing she was busy doing was rushing the food to the table next to us who came in nearly 20 minutes after we did, which means she didn't even put our order in until she put theirs in and they had 5 people at their table to our two with a lot more food. She then continued on to pamper and check on the other table constantly while not checking on us at all. Other servers checked on us and did everything for us. The only other time she spoke to us is when I had to flag her down to ask for the check. My husband was very upset so left a fairly small tip, then on my way out the door I overheard her talking badly about us to the door girl. Then she saw me and held the ticket up and loudly said, thanks a lot! To which I responded, you're welcome. You get what you deserves in service. I worked in the service industry for many years and never treated customers that way, I've also never had a server be so rude for no reason from the start then not even check on my table then get upset over not getting a good tip. Read moreWords cannot describe the experience I had at the outback steakhouse I am in the hospital with some pretty severe health issues and I called to place an order for me and my wife and I had a question about using my gift card and the girl on the phone was phenomenal answering my questions. I let her know that I was in the hospital and we would be coming from Methodist in Baytown so I asked how long it would be. She said 15 minutes so I waited about 8 minutes and sent my wife on the way with the gift card that we had my wife pull into the outback steakhouse and the girl that answered the phone I can’t remember her name but she is such a beautiful soul. She was waiting for my wife to pull in as my wife pulled in. She said your Brenda Glenn’s wife and my wife said yes and she said OK. Here’s your food. My wife said well. Here’s the gift card and She said my manager has taken care of your order for you So my wife started tearing up, gave her a big hug and got into the car and called me so I intern called outback they knew my name soon as I called. I asked for the manager they said the manager is Shellby. It made me tear up, which is very hard to do. I would just love if there’s any kind of recommendations that could be done the girl that answered the phone and Shellby have a special place in my heart, and I don’t even know them again, outback steakhouse you have the best employees seriously with much love thank you beautiful ladies for doing what you did as I sit here in my Hospital room and watch TV.
