Called this store in Baytown a few days ago to verify they had a work boot I was looking for. Gave the young lady on the phone Boot Barns item # as well as Ariats item # and the size I believed I would need. Ten minutes later she returned to the phone and said they have the boot in stock but did not have the size I asked for. She informed me they had the size above and the size below but she could order the size I asked for. I wanted to make sure the size I asked for would fit so I told her I would come in and try the larger and smaller size they had in stock first and then order the one they were out of if the sizes they had were too large/small. Today I drove an hour to the store only to find out that not only did they not have the sizes they told me they had, they didn't even have the boot. When I asked the sales girl on the floor if she could check the item number for me since someone else had told me they had it and it was why I drove across town she said she could but if it wasn't on the floor they didn't have it. I was quite upset that I had driven across town and now the sales person said she could look up the item number but didn't. She offered to order the boot but again the reason I drove to the store was to try the sizes that they told me they had in stock. Nice looking store but after that experience I'm not sure I could recommend...
Read moreI went in last weekend with 0 intention of buying anything. After all, I had no luck when I went to Cavenders about a year or so ago. I half expected to be treated the exact same way. I'm not a size 0 and def not cute and blond so I expected to be treated the same way C treated me.
I was completely wrong. This is my first year volunteering with HLSR and when I went in to BB, I explained to them that my biggest problem is my calves and that when I tried finding boots before, I had no luck and basically was laughed at and treated very rudely before just leaving. They assured me that they would not treat me poorly and took me to the boots section. I had a million questions and found several pairs of boots I really liked. I finally selected a pair of boots with the associates help. It took over 30 minutes (I think) to find a pair that I wanted and not once did the associate laugh at me or act like it was too much to help me. I left the store with my new pair of boots and a bottle of perfume that discovered. I left feeling so much better about not finding boots the last time. Though I was upset at the previous experience elsewhere, this experience at Boot Barn made me excited about HLSR and excited about the things to come.
I will def return for...
Read moreI absolutely love Boot Barn! The Baytown store has a great selection of women's clothing, boots and accessories. The store is well organized and clean. Every single employee that I encountered was so friendly and willing to go out of their way to help find what I needed. Kevin was my cashier, and he was super nice. The prices are very reasonable which means that I spend way too much money here, LOL!
This morning I had to contact the store to find an item and Giovanni spent time looking on the rack and checking other stores for me. I purchased an item the day before but wanted to swap it out for a different size. I really appreciated his help because the other locations were unwilling to do stock checks since it's the start of rodeo season. I called a few minutes after the store opened on Sunday, so I doubt it was swamped. The Dickinson location was my preferred store, but on my last two visits, I couldn't find what I was looking for. My preferred store is now the Baytown location because they have a great selection of fashionable western...
