Ben & Jerry’s — Restaurant in Beach Haven

There are a ton of ice cream places in this area-- some with longer lines which can be more enticing. But the fact of the matter is, Ben & Jerry's is the best tasting ice cream, loaded with little chunks and goodies galore. If you disagree, that's fine and dandy, but our taste buds ain't the same. Granted, this location offers nothing more (or less) than other Ben & Jerry spots (and you can obv get it in stores all over), and so depending on how you're feeling, it may be ideal to go with a novelty, LBI specific ice cream. Went on a Thursday night with about 10 other friends and family. We arrived at 9:05 asked them the closing time, and we told them we would be right back after stopping by another store. Skip ahead, we returned around 9:45 to the store closed. When I approached the window to ask the reason, the response was that they have been slow even though we guaranteed our return. The next day we returned to horrible service: Customers before us left yelling profanities, the staff showed poor customer service, and there was a point where change was improperly returned multiple times (not in favor of the business). My favorite place in the planet, sure they're not as cheap as some competitors but oh boy can you expect quality here, it's some of the best ice-cream I've ever had, I even took a trip from Philadelphia to here in a single night solely to grab some ice-cream and show it to my friends. It's a beautiful location in its own right, not mention how close it is to beach haven proper with all of the shops, but the store itself is gorgeous and vibrant, the employees are helpful and energetic, and I simply love how environmentally conscious this establishment is, all and around, this is the one and only place I go to for hand scooped ice-cream on the...
