Joe's Bagel and Grill — Restaurant in Beachwood

I tried when they first opened because the Brick location is spot on!! And I was yelled at by the manager because they forgot my side salad and I wouldn't drive back for it was snowing food was ehh then!! Fast forward almost 2 years and I decided to give them another chance because my son was home sick and wanted something special. Horrible is not the word I do not know how they are open! Once again food missing my breakfast platter was missing the bagel with cream cheese my sons pork roll egg and cheese toasted WAS NOT TOASTED ice cold amd had no cheese. I ordered 7 bagels for later 2 of them could break the sheet rock!! They were so rock solid and old im shocked they didn't have mild growing. The side order of bacon that I paid an extra 5 bucks for was extremely undercooked and sitting in a pool of oil. After calling I was told I'd receive a refund I did NOT receive that!! Oo and I was put on hold rudely not even like Joe's bagel shop please hold I got a nasty hold and the 22 minutes later finally got the gentleman whom stated i woukd get the refund i never got! 4th review - the bagels were hard, not fresh at all. They also lacked flavor - there was no flavor at all. I tried a pork roll, egg and cheese and it was one of the worst I ever had. I do not recommend.

Third review and it gets worse, not better. The bagel sandwiches have gone downhill. Each time we experienced problems from long wait times, wrong order, very little egg whites and stale bagels. Quality is not there as compared to other places. As you can see from earlier reviews my first bagel sandwich was very good but since I have not had a good one. We have tried to support and give a chance but at this point we will never go back and waste our money.

Old review based on new experience. My first trip was good. I had excellent pork roll, egg and cheese. Great flavors! However orders took too long, got one order wrong. Other people were waiting 20 mins or more. Came back again a long wait and order incorrect again. Complete lack of training at this location. This needs owners direct oversight to get fixed. I truly have never written a negative review on Google, but I would be doing a legitimate disservice to my neighbors if I didn’t let them know just how disappointing this location is. Today was my families second visit here and the first time we gave them the benefit of the doubt because they were newly opened. Today however, was horrible. We placed our order online and headed over to pick it up about 20 minutes after it was placed. When I arrived I was told that half of my order was ready but they were waiting on one item. I waited 30 minutes at a table for my order to be called. When I kindly asked when I should expect my order to be ready I was told that all in house orders get taken care of first and THEN online orders are filled. Our waffle was soggy after sitting on the counter for close to an hour, our buttered bagels were greasy and cold and the wrap that we ordered had cold unmelted cheese in the middle when it finally made it out of the kitchen.
