Five Guys — Restaurant in Beaufort

Took you long enough to get to Beaufort. Unfortunately, it's too little too late. Packed Monday 12/04/2023 for your "soft opening". Enjoy it while it lasts, you will be starved for customers and quality staff in no time, like everyone else around here acting like yall do.

This review is for the corporate fatcats, local staff your awesome and super nice people, I don't blame you for needing a job!

For the record, I am NOT a liberal, I'm a conservative leaning Constitutionalist. I just think some companies are overly greedy and predatory, and it's un-American.

I have been eating 5guys for decades starting back in old town Alexandria VA, before you all blew up and got WAAAY too big for your britches. Now you have stores in every airport and every state. Your almost everywhere, like the nasty corrupt fast-food restaurants (that shall not be named) (which you also are!)

You must have researched some of the other food places in this town, because your prices are DELUSIONAL just like many of theirs. You know I can drive 30min-1hr to the nearest town in any direction and ALL the food restaurants, and groceries are noticeably cheaper? So is the cost of fuel! Beaufort has a SERIOUS price gouging problem for some reason. Way to treat our low paid Military with 2 Marine bases in this town. Businesses like you and the others in this town overcharging for food and fuel DISGUST me.

Your charging OVER $10 for just a hamburger, your SMALLEST one, with NO fake cheese! Your charging OVER $6 for a plain hotdog. Your charging OVER $5 for just a fry, your SMALLEST one. Smallest drink $2.79 is average at least. Your smallest cheapest meal is basically $20 including tax!

You are aware I can go to several real sit-down restaurants nearby and get a steak or chicken dinner with TWO sides, all higher quality than your "high quality food" nonsense, all for about the SAME price of your CHEAPEST "burger, fries, and a coke"? Let's not even talk about your adult size burgers and large fries. (Over $12 and over $7!!!!!!) Literally EVERY OTHER burger joint in this town (And there are 2 or 3 at least) are cheaper and better than your food. Even with inflation (which we are told is going down) cheap burger meat and potatoes do NOT cost that much, not even remotely close.

Some of us have self-respect, and value our hard-earned money, which I will spend on better value, higher quality food, elsewhere. Enjoy ripping people off 5richguys, I...

Terrible. Messed up my order 4 times in a row. I ordered onions and green peppers and I could literallt count the number of onions on the burger and the number of green peppers pf which the number was 5 a piece. In addition i was supposed to get 2 patties but onlt got 1.

They offered to remake the burger and I accepted. They made the 2nd burger the EXACT same way after having to wait until they made the next 9 orders before they started to remake mine.

Now Im 25 minutes waiting for the 2nd burger of which came out wrong. They offered to remake it again. I had to wait for them to make 5 more orders before they started this next one. Keep in mind, the manager is the one cooking. This one was a little more right because this one had 2 patties but now it had bacon on it and a bunch of stuff I didnt order. I was there an hour and still did not receive what I ordered. I alsi wasnt the only one with this issue. Seven other customers was also going through this. I will never go back to...

The food was amazing! Best experience we've had from this restaurant chain. We did an online order and everything was made exactly as we wanted! Lettuce wrapped burgers are an amazing keto/gluten free option 💜 We got 4 burgers and a large fry and fed our family (2 adults, 2 children plus an infant).
