Several standouts in this cafe that makes it one of the local favorite!
First of all the food! They are greeeeat (Tony the tiger voice)!!!!! The donuts are constantly being baked and put out, ensuring maximum freshness. These donuts are fun in both their appearance and in taste! The menu is full of other items that are hard to find such as wagyu burger!!!?!
Secondly the coffee, this cafe holds a wide array of coffee, from your subtle, to earthly and full body. The owner is happy to brew a whole new pot at request.
Thirdly, the explosion of color really brighten up the atmosphere. It might not be in everyone alley, but the place is brilliant, uplifting and light. It is tight on the inside but they have out door sitting with activity available to play on the outside.
Lastly the people, the owner put this business together with a very specific purpose in mind, and I think she has achieved that. That along is worth visiting and talking to her about. Additionally the staffs are prompt and helpful, making the entire experience very pleasant!
Finally, it is true, the owner was a WWE superstar. Now go get your smack of a coffee, snack and cafe fix on at Sunny...
Read moreI stopped by this quaint coffeehouse recently and was surprised by the customer service. It was top notch. I felt very welcome there.
The place itself is very eclectic and has its own vibe and charm. It’s very comfortable to sit and hang out watching the world go by. There isn’t a ton of seating but what is there is inviting.
I ordered the biscuits and gravy because that is my favorite food. The biscuit was very good but the gravy came straight from a can. It wasn’t bad but it wasn’t great. Then again, in a donut shop why am I even ordering this instead of a donut? Although I don’t have a donut they did look amazing and I would definitely get one when I go back.
What this place is truly is a coffee shop. And I can comment on that. So recently I went to Dunkin’ Donuts and had the same coffee drink as I had here at Sunny Summers. The difference is night and day. Sunny tasted way better and you can see it was made with care. I would never get a drink from DD when this place is open.
My suggestion is to stop by and try their coffee you...
Read moreI thought the staff was wonderful and the place was very fun to be in and was what initially drew me to the shop. However, I was very disappointed in the beverages. We got a matcha boba and a chocolate milkshake. To begin, we went in for donuts and they were out which is understandable so the girl at the counter suggested a milkshake that comes with a mini donut on top. The milkshake tasted like vanilla ice cream with chocolate syrup and there was more chocolate syrup on the donut making it very sticky. Furthermore, the donut was dry and not very tasty. The matcha boba was very weird. It had an odd flavor of celery seed but the boba pearls were a good texture. I hope we just didn’t order the right thing but I found it was a little pricey costing around 20$ for...
