Panda Express — Restaurant in Beaufort

Revised review: They have improved dramatically on the food quality. Everything is vastly improved except for the fried rice, it’s still bland after many tries. I’d recommend this place now for sure.

Service is super fast and pleasant as well.

I’ve tried this location twice now and they have the potential to be good but lack in several areas.

First, when ordering I’ve had my order taken quickly but then I had to stand at the cashier waiting for someone to ring me out. I counted 11 employees and four managers and no one even said a word while I stood there. At least someone could have said I’ll be right with you. It took six minutes of waiting.

Next, overall some of the food was a bit bland. I use to have Panda once a week for years before moving here so I have some comparison. It’s just not as great as it could be.

Lastly, if you get a bigger plate they only half fill the extra entree box. This is just ripping people off. The box I received had three...

Totally disappointed. Stopped by last night to try Panda Express. Went inside because the drive thru line was very long and we really wanted to have an idea what there was to choose from. The inside line was long too -- waited around 15-20 mins to be served. Ordered the bowl size to try. It came with one side and one entree for under $9 and brought it home to eat. The local take-out Chinese restaurants have nothing to worry about in my opinion. The food tasted pretty much like a frozen entrees that you warm up in the microwave. This was my first Panda Express experience ever!!! This is just the 3rd day open so I knew they would be busy, hence I ordered carry out. In addition to that, sometimes you have to let an establishment get in the groove of things before trying them out, but I gave benefit of the doubt. I had 3 orders. My order had one item wrong. The noodles were dry, the veggies were a little beyond crunchy in the supergreens, and the rice was mid. I requested 4 sauces and the main one I needed (sweet & sour) was the one I didn't receive.
