Poncho's Tacos & Beer — Restaurant in Beaufort

So the food was great but the service was horrible. If I could give zero stars for service I would. Our drinks were not brought until midway through our food, waited forever for to-do boxes, brought my card and Rickey back with no pen to sign, and our waitress also tried to steal the other person money after paying cash. Her total was $54 and some Change and she paid $100 and the server tried to bring back $5. After having horrible service we did go to take our large margaritas out since we didn’t receive them until half way through our food. Sucks that our server watched us enough to take drinks but couldn’t show enough attention during our whole meal. We came to celebrate my hubby’s bday. No alcohol available, out of the soda he chose instead. Was brought the wrong food. Orders were messed up and server tried to argue with us that it wasn’t. Rice coming with dish, veggies with a chicken fajita salad etc when it states on the menu clearly that they do. Asked for some jalapeños on the side, recieved a stuffed poblano pepper instead. The server despite “arguing” with us was nice and kept the drinks full and everyone else was exceptionally nice. However sub par food and everything else that was messed up we probably will not return for a long long time if at all. I got the Queso birria, a bluerita and a horchata. Let me start, their chips and salsa are probably one of the best I’ve ever had. Just the right amount of him and the tortilla chips were so fresh.
