Okay after going here like 10 times from opening night to today, several months in, I have to give this location 1 star. I feel like the owners prioritized making money over training the staff. Each time I've ordered it has been another teen looking blankly at a screen trying to figure it out. I feel sorry for these kids. I have yet to receive one order that was correct. Today at 5:12 i placed an order for 4 meals. We'll over $100. I waited until 6:03 to finally receive all the food. I had to keep sending these kids back because we were missing so much!! It was 6:15 before I finally left. All the ice-cream is melted. Waisted money. But why even ask for them to remake it? Then the food will be cold again. I understand that this isnt fast food, so if I have to wait 45 minutes so be it. But it's never right. Its handing me half correct food then waiting another 30 minutes for the rest. I really hope Culver corporate or the owners would see this and respond. I have filled out 2 surveys online and haven't heard anything back. Jasmine, she is good but she can be extremely nasty to staff and cold to patrons. Riley, is either lost or on the verge of tears. She was the one pushing food out tonight so all the incorrect stuff falls on her. Chris, he's quiet and seems like an extremely hard worker. Lane, he apologized so much to me tonight. This is where teens do come in handy because they are still humble. This is an amazing location but as owners you need to properly train staff. And since this is where you have been stuck since opening day, up your pay and get more than teenagers in there. Clearly you are keeping costs low by hiring 90% underage staff because most adults won't work for $9/hr. You have made your priority into YOU as franchise owners into making money and this will inevitably be the reason why you are forced to close. Shut down for a week and...
Read moreI had heard amazing things about this franchise and was extremely excited to see one come to Beaufort. Unfortunately this one did not live up to the hype. The burger was fine, the cheese curds were fine, both served cold by servers in slow motion who obviously didn’t care or want to be there. No sense of urgency was seen at any point in our visit. The worst part is that we had to wait 35-40 minutes for our food. There seemed to be abundant help as far as employees but 4-5 were on the left of where you order standing there, doing nothing and having conversations with each other. Why weren’t they being utilized in the kitchen getting food prepared? Hardly fast food. At one point, I went up to them to ask about the WiFi password and they broke from conversation reluctantly to tell me they didn’t know, I then asked an older man who was working in the dining room and he did not know either but took the extra step to ask someone and by the time he got back to me I had found the guest sign on and was already online but greatly appreciated that he cared enough to get to the info for me. I think they should go across the street to Chick-fil-a and ask them to train the staff. You couldn’t find more lackadaisical and uninterested group of people anywhere. Customer service was evident in two out of the 12-13 people I saw who worked there. Just collecting a paycheck. I hate this because it is a privately owned small business franchise but man, you have to do better, this was ridiculous. If you are asking people to spend money, and apparently, lots of time there you have to demand more from your employees. It’s not like it was opening night, you had 3-4 weeks to work out the kinks. I am a small business owner myself in a service oriented business and if you don’t make changes soon and aggressively you are not...
Read moreI just tell it like i see it. My first time having food from this chain, never heard of them before. Sorry but nothing special to report here aside from good very polite service.
Bland but acceptable bacon double burger. The same shameful, garbage, tasteless, "beerbattered" onion rings that every place serves because they are all dumb. These companies ALL need to go eat at a Red Robin and learn what REAL onion rings look and taste like!!! Why in world are you serving 100 year old bland, tasteless, boring crinkle cut fries? What are we 5 years old? Cheese curds are a yummy new addition to fast food lately, but with yellow cheddar? No lol. That's like putting yellow cheddar in a jalapeño popper, when it should only be cream cheese. Just stop it people, eww. We have a Cookout 100 yards away with good white cheddar cheese curds done right. This Culvers place also serves some fried "seafood". Seafood from a fast food place, are you kidding me? No I did not order any of that nonsense lol. Overall the prices seem moderate considering today's insane inflation scam, which is acceptable. I did not try the frozen custard, or the chicken yet, maybe one of those will be noteworthy, but doubtful. Overall if you need food and nothing else is open, sure eat here, it's "fine". Under normal circumstances, there are many better tasting choices in the same price range.
There just doesn't seem to be anything special or noteworthy here that you can't get better elsewhere. Not impressed, would have MUCH rather a Popeyes opened here!!!!!, or a Rotisserie chicken company like Guapo's (pollo ala brassa), or a salad company like Mezeh! We also desperately need a Texas Roadhouse!!! This town has terrible food choices, but it is slowly...
