Chuck's Sandwich Shop — Restaurant in Beaumont

Ordered a Philly cheese steak sandwich, was yummy. Hubby ordered a Reuben sandwich which was different than anything I have ever tasted, but it was good, too. The place was pretty much spotless and the cashier was very helpful and friendly. It's a cozy place for a relaxed meal. It's not cheap, I saw it had only one dollar sign to describe price...it's more like 2 dollar signs...not complaining, just making an observation. I added a personal bag of chips and a diet Dr pepper to my $8.56 sandwich for $4.89. we didn't realize until after we paid 😄... We weren't penny pinching, cuz don't go out to eat if you can't afford it, but again, just letting folks know what to expect. We will go again and I recommend this restaurant...

Chuck's Sandwich Shop is a beloved, quaint spot for sandwiches and burgers in downtown Beaumont, Texas. I'd heard friends rave about it for a while, and it finally lived up to the hype when I joined them for lunch. I am a Beaumont native. Little did I know this piece of sunshine was only 2 blocks from my office. I meandered over, with a tip from a co-worker. Only to find out, not only have they been there 20 years, but my family and friends frequent the place. The food is amazing! Always something new in the kitchen from the mad chefs that run the show.
