El Pollo Loco — Restaurant in Beaumont

I don’t do reviews but the manager at this Beaumont location has no customer service and don’t want to make the customers happy. Just because I have a coupon you want to treat me horrible! I had a coupon I was in the drive through telling them my order with my coupon. I also said I have one more coupon. The drive thru lady said I am sorry in the drive thru we can’t apply two coupons. If you want to apply both coupons please come inside. I went in side ordered my food gave them my coupons and the cashier says he can’t take both. I explained what his coworker had told me, he got the manger. I then explained to the manager what had transpired . She didn’t care and wouldn’t let me use my coupons. When I got home to eat I ordered 12 family chicken meal and she didn’t put all the pieces of chicken i was shot 4 pieces. Being the mom in the house I let my kids and husband eat and I made me a sandwich before we didn’t have enough or what I order for all...

It was HORRIBLE! To begin, the drive through line was long. That was OK because it was lunch time... very busy. Which was why we decided to eat inside. I noticed that there were very few chickens on the grill... maybe three or four, which meant every order was being cooked after the order was placed. The service was lackluster , for lack of a better word. And when the order was ready, the chicken had been 'way overcooked! The skin was crispier than the bones! And to make this disaster memorable, the person grilling the chicken did not have the common sense to turn on the exhaust fan until the restaurant FILLED WITH SMOKE with five or six customers waiting in line! I was starving and got a double chicken fajita salad. The chicken was very flavorful, yet there was no fajitas!! Literally 2 pieces of bell pepper or tomato. Whatever it was. I love fajitas and I was highly disappointed. I called to let the manager know and all she said was “I am very sorry about that and I will let my burrito person know”. She sounded very young and clearly doesn’t understand you should do something to make it right. I won’t be back to that place. Customer service is very high on my list and I don’t appreciate wasting $7.21 when I should have just went to chipotle!
