El Mariachi taco shop #2 — Restaurant in Beaumont

I was vacationing with my 4 grandchildren and we were driving back to Arizona when I got the craving for tacos. Since I know Banning, CA has great Mexican food, I googled "tacos". This place popped up. It's a bit off the I-10 in a strip mall. (I wasn't sure how that was going to go, since I live on the border and know The best places are stand-alone)The street tacos are $2.50 each but, they are loaded!!! We couldn't finish them. The burritos are ginormous, too! They only serve corn tortillas, though. Although a true Mexican street taco is served on a small flour tortilla. The menu is quite extensive. Serving everything from menudo to breakfast burritos. The salsa bar only had 2 HOT salsas, sliced radishes and jalapeños. The service was great. The place could have been a bit cleaner, though. I would recommend, 100%! I'm also a truck driver and pass through Banning, often. I'll have to look for semi parking around there so I can get some tacos for the road! Walked in to meet a friend while waiting a few minutes (less than 5) immediately got the dirtiest look not only from the cashier but the back of house lady that came out as well. Then when I get to the food everything is super expensive for Mexican food I came for their taco Tuesday which turns out to be 3 tacos for 6 already an outrageous price for a weekly deal all 3 tacos HAVE to be the same meat you can't mix or match them then when you finally sit down the tacos are extremely mid and small. Luckily they keep you satisfied til the walk to the car so you can start planning your next meal after because this does not hit the spot. Go, that's all. I love the place. I've been to both of the locations, but I prefer the one near 1st street in Beaumont,CA. It's in the lot of Planet Fitness. The burritos are soooooo good. I literally have to force myself not to go there. And the husband and wife who own the place are very welcoming. The wife is super cool. We were talking about fitness and the best shoes to wear when working out. It felt like I was talking to a great friend that I've known for years.
