Jason's Deli — Restaurant in Beaumont

7/16/24- 7:51pm The girl that took my order was very rude. I ordered a chef salad with romain and she immediately said that’s what it comes with. Even though she was a little short I said oh OK, the menu just said salad greens so I wanted to make sure. And then I asked for 1000 island dressing and she said it comes with ranch. I said OK, but I would like 1000 island with it. She just told me my total and hung up. Didn’t even ask if I wanted anything else. The person at the drive-through was very sweet when I asked if the chef salad came with romain, she checked on her headset and said yes it does. Immediately a young girl with a long blind ponytail comes running around the corner and starts whispering in the to go person’s ear and looking straight at me through the drive-through window. The to go girl just nodded her head and was still very nice. Of course there’s no name on the receipt for the cashier. I didn’t expect to get treated like that in a place I’ve been coming to for years just for asking for a certain lettuce and dressing. I’ve always had great service here. The only reason I gave a star for service was because of the to go...

I just wanted to leave a positive comment for both DD & Jason's Deli, yet there doesn't seem to be just a plain ol' leave comments box...but that's okay I will find one on Google and the hotel sites, probably Facebook too...can you consider adding more restaurants to my zone, I don't care if it takes up to an hour to get here, I have a microwave! And I wouldn't want your drivers to speed! My intended comments, please forward to Jason's Deli: Good job Door Dash! So very happy...fast and everything there!!!!!!! Jason's Deli was good at the first one downtown 40+ years ago, and they're still rocking it today!!!

Past 2 years we've been ordering through Waitr, as they were the only service who would deliver past the major - college intersection...they only had 3 or 4 places available, but being handicapped that was great...unfortunately this month Waitr changed their delivery zone and excluded us out here off Meeker Road, so I was very upset...and even though you only offer us Jason's Deli and Church's, I am so very grateful for your service!

To start off, the restaurant was nice and clean but extremely cold. The cashier that took our orders was very cheerful and courteous. She handed us two salad bar cards and told us to give them to the young man at the end of the counter and he would give us our plates. We moved down to that area and handed the young man our cards. He seemed to be confused as to why we were giving him the cards. I had to explain why I was giving him the cards.

I also ordered a cup of vegetable soup, which was cold, so I didn’t eat it. The salad bar was well stocked. The pita chips were stale, there were also lemon poppy and spiced mini muffins. At other locations the mini muffins were made of cornbread so…I was disappointed. After finishing our meal we wanted some ice cream. There were cones, but no cups nor spoons so I had to go back to the counter and ask for it. While eating my ice cream I could see the young man described above dancing and at one point he got himself an ice cream cone and was eating behind the counter..while o the clock! I don’t think we will be coming back to this particular...
