I'm updating my review from 4 stars to 2 stars based on my last two experiences here. The second to last time: I ordered the lunch special of 10 boneless wings with medium sauce plus celery and ranch. My friend ordered the lunch special southern chicken sandwich. My boneless wings came out first, but with mild sauce so I had to send them back. They delivered the correct wings with medium sauce a few minutes later but I got celery and carrots but no ranch. One of the 10 boneless wings was extremely tiny - maybe one inch round. A few other wings were fairly small too. All the boneless wings have a fairly heavy breading. My friend's chicken sandwich took another 8 to 9 minutes to be delivered so I was almost done eating when my friends sandwich arrived. The place was not very crowded - so how hard is it to get 2 orders delivered to a table at the same time?! I also had to ask to get the ranch dressing. This last time we had 3 people in our party: Even though I specifically asked for all the food to be delivered at the same time my boneless wings were delivered well before the other two people got their lunch. I was almost finished eating when the second meal, a sandwich, was delivered. I was completely done eating by the time the third and final meal was delivered. This is simply not acceptable. I think this place will probably start losing more and more business since Roosters has opened in Beavercreek. Roosters has excellent boneless wings with far less breading AND getting 5 boneless wings at Roosters is actually more chicken and a better price than the 10 at BDubs. Roosters and BDubs have different items/choices on their respective menus so there are things you can only get at those individual restaurants. But, if you want a really good burger, go to Roosters as it is one of the best in the area. I do like BDubs sauce. It's a different type/style of sauce than Roosters. I think both sauces are good though. The menu at BDubs has changed once again but I didn't bother to get...
Read moreWalking into this establishment tonight you will be greeted by a young black girl with pink hair who would rather be anywhere else but at work. Her poor attitude and demeanor sets you off for the poor experience you are about to endure. Once she is ready to actually speak to you, you are felt privileged enough to hear her contribution to your evening by uttering “follow me”. Please do not expect any other conversations, greetings or well wishes, you should feel the honor of her two words and dismiss your wants elsewhere. After enduring the ice princess at the front door you will be pleased to sit at a wobbly table that has been cleaned at least once today, what more do you expect, a clean table?? Pay no mind to the gummy white substance left behind and do not bother any staff member with you’re petty requests to clean the table. You are provided wet naps for such things. As you wait for your food please sit back and enjoy your flat beer served when it is convent to the staff. Upon receiving your sampler platter please take a moment to enjoy the visual replication of a van Gogh masterpiece with items carelessly tossed on the plate. Hey if you’re looking for flavor, wing sauce or melted cheese on your nachos, please take your expectations elsewhere you prude. As you lower your standards and begin to accept the degrading status of bw3 you will find peace in knowing that there are approximately 30 tvs set to sports to deter your standards. In summation, do not expect a pleasant dinning experience, good food, hospitality or leadership. You will not see the manager anywhere outside of the bar area and you will leave hungry and underwhelmed. Now if you’re looking to spend your money on poor quality beer and lunchroom food then please come on down. Would recommend that you just go somewhere else besides this chain restaurant or better yet, go to the grocery store and...
Read more3 stars only because the food was very good, but not 5 because service tonight was quite bad. We were seated almost immediately, outside on the patio as requested, and given menus by the hostess. 20 minutes later we were first visited by our server to take our drink order. Several servers were taking care of others around us, a table of 7 had received their meals, finished them, and left already. We made eye with multiple servers, but not one noticed our empty table (other than menus laying flat) and asked if we had been helped. Our server did apologize, but not without throwing her coworkers under the bus for the problem, instead of keeping the apology simple. We proceeded to order drinks, received the waters first, then ordered our food. When the drinks (margaritas) came, they had no limes. Again, a long wait for the server to return and then I politely requested limes. Another long period passed with no return to our table from our server. I thought she forgot. Finally she came back apologizing again that they were out of limes and mentioned she had spent 15 minutes looking for some. We noticed! At this point over 50 minutes had passed and our patience was wearing thin. The food finally arrived after an hour wait, and that was the most redeeming part of the experience. Everything was well prepared and very good. I had to ask for the check twice, but the server did provide a comp on our appetizer in an attempt to make up for the other failings. She was overall polite and apologetic at least. We will be back, and hopefully the experience will be better like usual at this location. If so, I would be happy to revisit...
