The waitresses are usually very friendly and nice. However, on the 17th of February there was a very large wait. It was a Saturday and there was no problem with my fiance and I waiting. We called ahead to see of we could set up a reservation, knowing it was a hour wait. They responded with "no we cannot reserve tables". When they told us to go online, we did and put in a reservation online. It quoted us 41bto 50 minutes, in which we waited for over and hour and came in, mind you, we spent an addiyltional ten minutes driving around the parking lot trying to find a spot. So we came in over an hour after we placed our reservation and the lady was very rude. Madison was her name. When I told her we had an online reservation she was very rude and didn't even look up to speak at me. I told her my name and she said it will be an additional 10 to 15 minute. I wasn't mad that we had to wait longer, I was angry that she was incredibly rude. No 'it's gonna be just a few more minutes while we clear off a table."it was "well your gonna have to wait about 15 to 20 minutes" I waited in the lobby and was seated in about 5 minutes. When we were called forward she said "there it was only five minutes you had to wait." Once again, said in a rude tone. After being seated, a heavyset manager came up to the table and confronted me. And said , "are you mad" to which I reaponded "well yeah" and continued to tell him my story . It was then that he stopped me in the middle of my sentence and said "well Madison said you were dropping f bombs and being rude to her". It all just konda reminded me of a he said she said game. In additoon to that, he never apologized or anything. Just stated he would "talk to her" Was just as rude as madison was. He never introduced himself or anything just kinda made me more uoset. I work in customer service, and i know that management is never ever supposed to accuse a customer of anything. Especially when they weren't around to even see. Will not be returning to this location. Woukd rate 5/5 for the waiters and waitesses. And a 0/5 for this incident...
Read moreMy wife and I went in to olive garden Saturday night March 23rd to have dinner. Of course they were busy only " two top" open was at the bar but it was a tall table off to the side so we agreed to take it. Doing good so far. Now this is usually not a big deal to us we are working folks just like the other 99% of all of us. Like I said though usually not a big deal. But my wife and I just lost our six year old grandson and we just got the auto pilot turned off from the mourning of William our grandson. Now our mourning is not from him passing because he did not. His mother who had ran off with another guy for over a year no contact what so ever. She shows back up and for whatever reason and not for lack of my wife and I telling him over and over about my son getting custody. Well she showed up and left with my grandson. We have no idea where she plans on taking him. We were with this boy everyday for six years. So the mourning for passing and what the mother did to us is the same but I digress. So this night was important to us both. We sat down. Our waiter came up right away but I noticed that he looked at my hat that has a US flag on it and instantly changed his attitude towards us. Now from here on out he talked down to us when I started to ask about cocktails he said some smart remark instead of something like " hey yeh here's the drinks we have". And him not doing this surprised me because HE WORKED THE BAR? His attitude got slowly worse and worse. Despite me putting the empty bread basket on the edge of our table as well as our drinks I still had to ask him to refill. Now we were his second table out of the two he had and we were sitting right across from the other older couple but they never had to ask for refills, the waiter wasn't lazy just extremely rude. Why? The only difference between us and his other old couple table was that man didn't have a hat on. There was only one person at the bar. I tip well because like I said my wife and I worked for our stuff. So olive garden your employee ruined our night. Fairborn...
Read moreVery poor experience. Food was actually good and was flavorable, but first thing is you sit 4 grown adults at a small square table, that is only big enough for 2 people. The next table over had 3 adults for a table for 6. Go figure. We order our drinks and food at the same time. I ordered a to go order, and it was brought out while we were eating our salad, so i had to sit it between my legs on the floor for our entire meal. Salad and breadsticks came out before our drinks. We were pretty much sucking on the tart salad dressing before drinks. The drinks finally came for 3 people, and the other adult didn't get a drink until they were done with their salad. We had to ask multiple times for their drink. Was not asked about refills until almost done with our meals, so what would have been the point. We had to basically hand our waiter the checks after about 10 to 15 mins so we could pay and then leave. The kiosk had to be moved, and a waitress took it to add some room, but we never got it back. They saw us the entire time. It was the worst experience I have ever had at that restaurant.
If this is going to be the standard now going to this restaurant, I will no longer be eating there again. I can overlook somethings due to being busy, short staffed, etc, giving benefit of the doubt, but they were not busy, hardly anyone there. I give it a 2 out of 5 only because the food was actually good and no...
