Wow! First of all, I want to say that most everyone who is complaining about this location seems like a pompous, arrogant, entitled person who I don't think should ever order food! The vast majority of these problems are from these people who insist on getting delivery and carry out which you will never see me do but I'm glad you people do that at least in one way. This is because I certainly wouldn't want you in the dining room when I'm there enjoying my pleasurable experience... clogging up the place or finding something else "talk to the manager" about. It actually a little funny. Now having established the tone.... We have been going to this location for about 68 weeks now. They absolutely always do a great job and several of the employees have gone out of their way to make friends with us etc and they make sure we enjoy our weekly experience. So they had a problem recently.... They were down at least one employee and they got way behind probably due to their very good coupon special and all the cheapies that were flocking to use it. Don't get me wrong, I always use a coupon but I'm a consistent regular customer not someone only flocks in when there's some special going on. Anyway, I think they upset more customers than they actually helped. Their employees are not used to these situations occurring and to be honest they didn't / don't have the best customer service skills to deal with irate customers or when things go awry. Another manager showed up but well past over an hour into the problems. This guy was excellent! He has excellent customer service skills and handles the pressure just fine. We we're not complaining, and we were not canceling our order, we were there for the Long haul and we were going to get our pizzas and enjoy our meal.. Which is exactly what we did even though it was about an hour and a half past the timer pizzas were supposed to be done via app ordering. I HATE having to use the app or online to get the best but this is a common problem in the food industry today.
We want to thank all those employees who had to deal with all of those hateful customers. We had a great dinner and we will be back next week as usual.
There were a small handful of people like us who did not get all offended or upset about the situation. It seems the complainers would be better served if they would be nice and compassionate to employees and they would probably get better service instead of just making the situation worse. Read moreThis has to be one of the most poorly ran pizza places I have ever visited. The customer service is appalling to say the least. I love Donatos and just moved back to Ohio after being gone 10 years. The very first thing we did when we arrived was order from the Beavercreek location. Placed the order for pick up and was quoted 20 minutes. Arrived at 21 minutes and the pizza hadn't been made yet. No apologies. No sense of urgency. They weren't busy. Only 2 pizzas were in the oven with 3 people just standing around. After 30 minutes I asked for an update. Still NOT in the oven! They offered me a drink for the inconvenience. 10 minutes later they bring the food and I complained with the manager who again offered me a drink. I asked if they really felt that was sufficient enough to make up for the hassle. After some back and forth they offered me a credit for the order. Once I got home they only cut the pizza vertically and didn't do the cross cuts. A week later a manager follows up to confirm the issues and that they were going to give me a $10 credit for a $36 order when I was told I would receive a full credit for the order. I then had to explain the whole situation again per the managers request. She said she'd give me the full credit. Just called today to redeem said credit and she only marked it for $20! Then I had to go through the whole process again. On the phone for another 20 minutes to just place the order and use the credit. I'm writing this while I wait and honestly not expecting much as far as the quality. I'm hoping it's only this location and not the entire franchise. I will not be returning to this location and be warned if you ever have an issue with your order. Getting them to make up for it is harder than...

If I could give Donatos a 0 star review I would. I ordered pizza and it said bout an hour. I said that's stretching it but whatever that's fine. However Donatos shipped my order to be completed by DoorDash. The driver got there, stayed for 15minutes before they told him I switched to pickup. This happened when it was supposed to be delivered. When. I got notified it was going to be delivered 30mins after the first deadline, I started calling. I called 6x and no one picked up. At this point I'm pissed and don't want the pizza. I called my delivery driver, apologized for THIS restaurants mistake and then called DoorDash support. Donatos still refused to pick up my call but DoorDash helped a girl out. Never ordering from here again. You're trash. Thanks for wasting...
