I have never written a review before but i felt that I have to in this situation. My daughters and I have come to this establishment for years. It has always been a special thing we do, just us. Well, this experience has ruined that for the future. First of all, the waitress, Kara, was nice when she was there, but was very slow and inattentive. It took 20 mins to get our drinks ordered. Within 10 minutes of arriving she came to the table to apologize for taking a bit and then said she would be back to take our drink order. Dont know why she didn’t do that then since it literally would have taken the same amount of time. The drinks didn’t come for about another 20 mins. When the food arrived about 40 mins after ordering, we had some issues. I had ordered a side of rice and it was literally about 3 tablespoons. We had fun with the crab legs that we shared, but weren’t given any napkins or an extra crab cracker since there were two of us. We would have asked for them but again, Kara was nowhere to be seen again. We went to the restroom to wash our hands, and when we returned, our unfinished food was disposed of and a check was waiting on the table. The only time anyone all night showed any urgency was to get us out the door. The waitress asked us if we wanted to order dessert, and frankly our evening was ruined. We left and my daughter was sad about the experience and i am upset and angry. I left a tip because Kara shouldn't suffer for what is clearly a failing restaurant. Everything about this restaurant has gone significantly downhill and I highly recommend people to dine elsewhere. The current management and staff clearly are bothered by your existence. This was a terrible end to a long tradition for me and my daughters. ...
Read moreI appreciate the reply, it is truly my intensions to give my honest opinion based on the events of the current setting.
I was leaving the restaurant when Google popped up and asked for my rating, I had full intentions on filling out the "why" once I got home from another restaurant.
I will admit it has been several years since I've been to a Red Lobster, and if my memory serves me, it was in north western Ohio. I rarely go due to the fact I have fish oil and shellfish allergies, although the restaurant I attended a little over a decade ago in Findlay assured me they had separate grills for their steaks as that was my order everytime I attended a work or social event I was out number on.
This particular restaurant does not have that ability and therefore my only option was to enjoy a broiled steak. The prices based on that alone would never allow me to destroy the flavor of one of my favorite meals that I rarely get to enjoy.
With no option to avoid a serious health risk we were turned away with no remorse for my situation. Please don't mistake my lower numbered review as unjustified liberties, more of the fact there is no ability for someone to enjoy the company of fellow patrons, family and friends who enjoy Red Lobster as their choice in dining experiences.
Due to the fact the waitress and manager had any insight for my discomfort, we chose another restaurant where she can enjoy her taste and I was able to safely enjoy mine.
To bring this situation to the surface, I hope that a simple single serving grill dedicated to the steaks and chicken, or even customers with specific allergies may partake in...
Read moreForced to give a 1 star horrible experience . We're new to the area thought we would go out and have a great dinner lets just say wow...... there was a hair in our bread brought to our table once we got sat down next we order our drinks, next our meal comes sad to say there was another hair in the food of my plate.. ask for a manager because at this point I'm frustrated with the fact staying humble and respectful I ask to have my plate reorder to my table... my family is eating there meal after another 30min still no food I ask to have my money refunded and my dinner free on a next visit the manager asked if I would like a piece of chocolate cake to go with my refund I said yes please never received my dessert and only received a $40 credit our tab was still $95. Sure wished we would've taken the time to go up the road to Texas Roadhouse as it most likely would've been a much better experience. Need to mention we were told by a server not ours that the people who work in the back "DO NOT WEAR HAIR NETS OUR HATS" for the assigned stations that should be a required don't you think in this day and age? Please look at your plates with a good eye as this place doesn't have any kind of food precautions for their...
