Waffle House — Restaurant in Beavercreek

I will say if you want be creeped on by a random person I say go here. I was truly uncomfortable, which is rare for me. There was a man there who needed to shower and gave off creeper vibes, and felt like he is a predator to children. After some investigation and speaking to staff. Turns out it is the security guard for the place. For one, thats odd in itself why would a wafflehouse need a security guard? That makes me so unsafe to ever return, its in a good area I wouldnt think I be unsafe. For two, why he is sitting there with headphones on and not paying attention? If you are security you should be looking at everyone not just creeping like you listening to "adult entertainment" in the corner. For three, he couldnt do his job, he had call local law enforcement, this man walked in wearing a motorcycle vest with a patch and gun. He wasn't rude or disrespectful. He sat down to eat order and eat. I felt more comfortable with that man there than the security guard. In stead of walking over and being like, Sir we are going have ask you to remove your vest and weapon if you want to eat here. No the so called security called the police. Made the police handle it. The man who was wearing the vest, was never rude. He apologized to the officers and removed the items and placed them in his bike. And returned to the building and never said a thing about it. So why have security when you can handle a situation. I will never return to this location. I hope the company realize they decided to hire someone who can't follow thier own rules. That "security gaurd" discriminated against someone for part of a group. I will be calling corporate because I feel this wrong on some many levels and the fact security couldnt do his job is sad. I felt more comfortable with the man who was in motorcycle group being there. I hope other individuals are careful when visiting this location especially women with that security...

Terrible all around, service, food staff! Arrived at 5:10 pm Friday November 1st. (we had 8 people 2 tables), 4 tables and 2 counter were all ready seated, it took 11 minutes before we were greated, tried to place order but she wasn't ready, she came back two minutes later and took our order, it took her 14 minutes to call in our order. Then it took 4 minutes to get our drinks, yes 25 minutes to get drinks.

The other waitress could see all of this going on but did not help, even though I believe she could have. The cook was making a pot of something and was visibly perturbed rolling his eyes at the staff in my opinion because of not being able to finish his prep

Some of our food arrived 15 minutes later but we were missing several items, we had two orders of bacon that didn't arrive until our meal was just about finished but there was only 2 pieces per plate not the normal three, again the cook was rolling his eyes when he was asked to cook more. My hash browns were overcooked rock hard and missing jalapenos, the waitress did bring me a plate of cold jalapenos again when the food was over half gone.

It was a fight to get refills, my wife talked to the other waitress while waiting on our bill to be finished.

Total time in the restaurant was 1 hour 19 minutes. We eat at waffle house about once every ten days or so, we will not return to this...

I’m not the type of person to even leave reviews, but this experience was just so bad I had to. It took forever to get a booth even though there was a lot open, they just refused to clean off the tables. when we do finally get a table our server takes more than 10 minutes to even get to us. She finally took our order and then a group of 5 come in and sit behind. they got aaallll their food first and it was just me and one other person. We only ordered 3 things. Then when she finally brings out my waffle, she brought mine and the tables behind us at the same time. she had one plain waffle and one chocolate chip. she set the plain waffle down at my table then tries to give the chocolate chip one to the other table but then they say they ordered a plain one as well. so the server literally came back to my table, took my waffle BACK, then gave it to the other table!!
