The short version: Fantastic Staff, no-pressure sales people who are more interested in finding something that fits your needs, rather than making more money, best prices in town, and high quality furniture. This is a family owned and operated business, and when we walked in we really felt like they cared about us. We were very pleased with our experience with Hollywood, and will definitely be going back for future furniture needs.

The details: My fiancé and I came to Hollywood furniture to purchase a couch for our new place. We came in about an hour before closing, and not only did they take their time talking to us about each of our options, they ended up staying an hour after their closing time talking to us, not once complaining or trying to shuffle us out. We ended up getting a King Mattress, bedroom set, and built-to-order Sofa. The owner showed us all of his models, even though some were cheaper than the one we had initially liked, just to make sure we knew what our options were.

When they delivered the mattress and bed-set they proactively pointed out a very small flaw in the stain of a dresser on the bottom of the back side. I would not have noticed it if they didn't point it out! They immediately told me that they were going to bring out a replacement, no cost. We told them that we didn't really care about the blemish, and they offered to give us a discount on our total order if we wanted to keep it. This was such amazing service! The couch that was custom made came about five weeks later, and we've had so many compliments on how beautiful and comfortable it is.

I do not often write reviews, but the quality of the service and products blew our expectations out of the water. Would highly recommend to anyone in the market...

We were in search of a specific model of sofa chaise. We went from store to store in the Portland-Beaverton-Tigard area and every place were sold out with a minimum 3 week lead time. We were about to give up until we happened to see an ad on FB marketplace for the couch we wanted! At first we were a little confused if this was an independent seller or an actual furniture shop. We messaged him through FB and he responded almost immediately. Hollywood Rooms is furniture shop with a show room that is small/medium sized compared to big box stores. Jeff was very friendly, answered all our questions about the furniture, and was very familiar with his inventory.

The couch itself was $200 CHEAPER than the big box stores and in stock! We didn’t ask him about the warranty info because were were so happy we finally found the couch we wanted, and it was by far the cheapest we’ve seen them listed for. He offered a curbside delivery for $40, but since we were 10 minutes away, we decided to pick it up ourselves. The couch was still in the manufactures original cardboard boxing, but we just had to cut open the box and put the feet on.

EDIT:: Please stop lying. It makes you look realllllly bad as an owner. You know the way your mind works and you know the way you approached the situation. You're now at a point where you don't want to loose future business and feel you must lie to cover up what really happened. Your ignorance was showing. Simple as that.

Fastest I've been in and out of a store EVER! As my husband and I were walking in, my husband held the door open for another customer walking in behind us. My husband and I went left and the gentleman behind us went with the sales person to the right side of the store. We browsed for a few mins and didn't see what we were looking for, so we ended up crossing paths with the gentleman that was behind us and the sales person. The sales person seriously asked us if we were altogether? Why would that be? What made you come to that conclusion? I looked at my husband and told the salesman, "Nope we're not altogether because not all black people know eachother." I walked out. You're not getting my money or a good review. Change your thought process sir, and stop assuming. I promise you, if the guy who came in behind us was an old white couple, you ABSOLUTELY would not have asked us this question....
