Pizza Schmizza — Restaurant in Beaverton

Worst experiences at this location, multiple times forced my hand in this review. I spoke with the owner of the franchise and nothing has changed. They are serving burnt, cold, food. Funny thing about it being burnt is you know it was hot at one point in time.

This most recent experience, when we got there AT DINNER TIME there was no pepperoni or Don ho they said it would be 8 minutes for the slices. Ok no problem we waited, during the wait process we went up to pay for the slices and the cashier started putting my Don ho into the pizza slice warmer where it sat for the entire time the fresh pizza was cooking. Before she even put it in I said I would wait for it all together, she still put it in the oven. When we got our slices instead of giving me a fresh Don ho she gave me the one that sat in the crisper, it burnt the ham on it so bad that it was black. When I went back to ask for one of the fresh slices the employee started stomping to get me a fresh slice. I could feel her steps through the floor from the other side of the counter. She huffed and puffed and said it would be a couple minutes for this pizza that just came out of the oven. She stuck the fresh slice on a clean plate and put it in the pizza warmer. I walked over to my table and by the time I sat down she came walking around the corner with the slice on my old dirty plate, she switched the plates for who knows what reason.

I ended up with soggy pizza, cold breadsticks. The only thing hot was the alfreado sauce which barely luke warm.

This will be the last time I use this location.

P.s. even my 2+ dollar tip was ignored, no woohoos. This isn't the Schmizza I grew up with... and this isn't the Schmizza I would recommend to my customers, family, or friends.

And I work with lots of people from out of town, now I don't have a local pizza joint to refer them to. Maybe Papa's pizzaria or Nona...

The service was bizarre and poorly timed at best. My family and I came here to get pizza before the movie. I ordered a beer, and it took the guy taking our order a few moments to remember to ID me. The whole family put in their order and we were told that the two beers ordered would be served to the table. This place is incredibly slow, yet it took us close to 15 min before we got tired, and went up for the drinks.

Shortly after 1 pizza and 1 appetizer were brought out. The second pizza after that, and after a wait the second appetizer was brought out. We canceled the third appetizer as it still hadn't been brought out. Both pizzas brought out were lukewarm with half melted cheese despite the edges on one being burnt. We got one side of ranch to split between the two appetizers for a table of 5.

If you're looking for a place to chill out away from the heat and don't mind your food being brought out in the wrong order with a wait time for drinks then this is a fine...

I like Schmizza's pizza a lot and have been to many locations. For some reason, my wife and I keep coming back to this one despite the poor service we keep getting. The past two times we've gone, they have delivered one of our food items to the neighboring table. When we ask about our missing food item, they act confused, and the last time they ended up saying that someone must have "stolen it" (you guys GAVE it to the next table!). The decor is alright, but since they added arcade machines and an air hockey table the amount of noisy children has increased for the worse. If not for the convenience of going here before heading to a Valley Theater movie (that also serves Schmizza, but at a higher price), we'd probably...
