Horrible experience. Lack of leadership. Where is the district manager or franchise owner??? I placed an online order last night, said it would be ready at 9:40, I get there at 9:45, there's no other customers in store, drive thru or parking lot. 4 crew members were sitting in the lobby. The music was loud inside but not too loud to hear the obvious doorbell that rings when a car pulls up. The staff literally initially ignored the doorbell and continued closing the restaurant (mind you it's not even closing time yet and they literally have one customer to handle.. and you had 15 minutes to make the order...) so we pull up, they ignore the doorbell, a girl(crew member of course) walks past the window, makes eye contact with me, and walks to the lobby to sit down!! We continue to just sit there watching them close and dance, completely ignoring us. Then the manager(I assume) walks out to actually check on his shift I assume he was also closing early in his office. And points at us like "hey are u gunna help them" doesn't feel the need to touch on the situation apparently. Then the crew member walks over, has no idea about an online order. We wait for them to make it. Now it was supposed to be ready almost 15 minutes ago giving 25min total time to make, yet nothing is made. Can't imagine the bottleneck that takes place when they actually have customers. Whe we finally got our burritos the were cold, old ingredients and not even wrapped!!!!!! So disappointing. Our cat died two days ago. We're too depressed to cook. We were hungry and just wanted a couple burritos and thought we could count on that from CHIPOTLE! Again I say where is the leadership and how could u allow this? Check your cameras for last night. Pitiful. Waste of $20 and we went to bed hungry and disappointed by all the punks working at that location. Develope your staff or spare the public and HOLD THEM ACCOUNTABLE. Customers shouldn't have to. It's really sad when reviews are the only performance audits happening, zero feedback loops in place. This franchise owner is clearly absentee, checked out or inexperienced with scaling because you sir are giving Chipotle a...
Read moreThe reason for rating: No one in line mind you. Im the only customer in line. The person working line was gloved up when I approached them. I said hello and they just stared at me. Then they took their gloves off and proceeded to do a line wipe. Then the service manager on duty finishes washing her hands sees me in line decides to go in lobby and use phone and refill drink. Then what appeared to be the kitchen manager walks to the from and is putting their gloves on. okay cool I’m going to get helped out now as I’ve been patiently waiting. Nope she looks at me as well and decides to grab the dirty dishes and put them in the back. Meantime the line person is doing a line wipe this whole time. And I’m just awkwardly standing there no one has even acknowledged me. I’m not gonna get all pissed and make a scene instead I’ll walk out and find business elsewhere as I just did.
I’ve worked chipotle before and this is not how it functioned when I worked there. Since when did line wipes and putting dirty dishes in the back get prioritized before customers? It seems this was a location thing though as still I go to chipotle very often and never had this issue before.
Terrible service and management due to the fact that they didn’t appear to care which even further why I’m writing review. Chipotle failed at delivering an exceptional customer experience by a long shot tonight. Food was a no because well I didn’t get any food from there bc their terrible service. After about 5-7 minutes the line person finishes their sorry line wipe. Like they made me wait that long and they left it with sour cream streaks and all. As the line person started washing their hands and seeing how sorry their line wipe was I decided I waited for nothing and left. Why should I give my money to people who don’t care about their customers?
Try greeting your customers and assisting them over a line wipe next time. Clearly this is rooted in management as the manager didn’t even care to lead by example their example was they don’t care what the customer thinks. That’s not a good look. This was the...
Read moreWhy dose Chipotle charge for the tortilla on the side!? Really, why dose it charge because I like to use my fingers with the tortilla? Silly.
I asked for steak fresh because the steak they had was super dry. The cashier, young lady said she could give me some from over by the drive thru where I couldn't see it. When the young man that was building the bowl came back it was still dried out beef. S I asked for the 3rd time to have fresh grilled beef. So she finally asked for some to be started. I told them I didn't mind the wait. When I got to the check out she informed me the tortilla on the side was an extra charge. She said it has always been like that. That was the first time I was charged I said. So I said no thanks and git some chips and salsa. She totaled my order and then realized there was no cash drawer... So it took a while. While I was waiting a few minutes a supervisor came up and comped the meal for all the running around. It was worth the wait. It was tasty. There's a couple of other good food places right next to this Chipotle, but I hadn't been to one for a long time and decided to stop in. The lobby was clean and the kitchen looked in good shape as well as the grill. It was around 4pm so I can understand kinda why they had dry steak. But trying to sell it shouldn't be an option. I don't like dry steak and there are people who may like it, but Chipotle quality it's dry, it's tender juicy. Not dry rubber. Anyway, that was my experience. I appreciate them making the steak and comping the order because of all the issues that came up. Thank you Chipotle staff! I miss the lemon's! I'm a lemon person... But I'm sure inflation has it affects on that price. But why don't they charge for it at least so it's an option. They charge for tortilla on...
