As a big soccer group, we had the most terrible experience with the managment/staff with our soccer games. This is our second season (and the last!) we reserve the big soccer field once a week for 12 weeks, the soocer field is big and nice, but the biggest issue we faced was their consistent time conflicting & schedulimg issues with the days that we already booked months back! But the huge problem is they dont give us heads up to plan accordingly if there is a change in our schedule - we just find out when we are already there before our scheuled game that field is booked to another group! - thats really frustrating and its really inapropriate and unprofessional- players manage to come from Salem, hillsboro, newberg..etc to play together and by just telling us our game got cancelled at that time is really annoying. Everyone has a life and its so anoying to hear such excuses at the door, no respect to us and our time, and most importantly no repect for their own word, commitment and contractual agreement with their scheduling, those game conflicts are a product of a gap in the scheduling managment that seriously needs to be resolved to retain customers.
Additionally, on a final recent incident we came for our game on a friday but we were just told that there is a conflict in the scheduling again, and the girl working at that friday night were trying aggrisively kicking us out and threatened to call the cops if we didnt leave - of course we handled the situation smoothly untill the manager/supervisor brian came and he was simply saying "we are sorry" we have no idea how conflict happened, we are tight in schedule and that should not happen again" - same exact excuse heard before!!!! Additionally, when we were complainimg about those time conflicts the girl working there simply said " why dont you guys choose another place?" WOW for that, customer service =0/10, on any buisness model thats the only path you should NEVER pursue with a customer..because yes we will choose another place mostly because of you!
Anyways, customers will only relate to me if you have consistent games going on weekly basis. Thats the last time we will book their fields and will never come close to this center again untill they fix the scheduling issues and train their night staff how to be nicer and professional rather than aggrissive and rude.
Summary of review: Friendliness of staff 4/10 Soccer Field : 7/10 corners of field are really tricky , they are curved Bathrooms cleaniness: 3/10 Scheduling credibility : 1/10 Overall Care for customers: 2/10 Recommend to others: No , untill issues got resolved Would I...
Read moreStay away from this place! The management are simply unprofessional. I booked the small field on Wed for the next Sun. We played there for months before lock-down and this was supposed to be our second game after they opened. The team members reshuffled their schedules to play the game , we arrive and they simply said that we have no reservation, really!! I showed them the phone log, the person name, the advance log from my bank and then guess what, the story became that SOMEONE called them on Friday and cancelled the game, really! we are at the door on the game day and I did not receive my refund because of the cancellation. (guess they were planning to keep the money). The manager phone and his staff have no understanding of customer service, they keep denying that I have a reservation even with all the proofs (from the discussion, we understood that no one using the big field which we didn't book and we saw other people getting inside that they looked ready to play soccer, left us wondering it's either very poor scheduling skills, booking the same spot twice or the other players paid a hire fee ....) At the end, the staff member brought out my deposit and we left (How generous even they denied and no apology). Just an horrible experience, will never go back to this place and I strongly recommend that you stay away from...
Read moreCurrently manage a Coed Saturday team for almost two years. We have seen many changes to the character of the leagues we play in and it's disheartening at times. One the difficulties that has been a problem is with scheduling. We have been lumped into one division and are expected to play some high level teams when at most we are a recreational team, so you can expect half the season to be against team of your caliber and the half you might as well hang up your boots. There are no true recreational divisions which is makes it hard to have your friends come for a kick around to have some fun because you have gear your team up not to lose. On top of that the schedule often comes out a matter of days before the session making it difficult to plan and secure people onto your roster, especially with summer plans influencing the decisions of potential players. In the end it's one of the better places to play in Portland but...
