Sun Grill Teriyaki — Restaurant in Beaverton

This has become one of my favorite places to eat in the Cedar Mill area, and we get take out from here once a week. It's a family run business with a friendly staff, the portions are generous and the menu is very reasonably priced. While the Teriaki is superb (I get the chicken and pork combo - nice and tender and comes with bonus pot-stickers), it's the house special Korean dishes that truly shine. The people behind the counter and in the kitchen are always so nice and sweet. The quality of the food is great and you can tell the owners take great care in keeping the establishment clean. The only complaint I have is that I've noticed the quantity of rice given varies, sometimes there's a big scoop or two of rice and other times there's only one small scoop. Maybe the amount of rice given varies from dish to dish? Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant to those wanting a nice hot plate of Asian inspired dishes but aren't in the mood for anything too...

Sun Grill is a halfway decent place to stop to get your teriyaki fix if you don’t have lunch or dinner plans. The building is very, very small, so I ordered my food and ate outside.

I got the chicken teriyaki, and it was….alright. Not great, not terrible, just okay. The rice was forgettable, the chicken was grilled to perfection, but drowned out in some of the worst excuse for teriyaki sauce I’ve ever had to suffer through that was FAR too salty.

Overall, a decent restaurant and worth trying, but not something...
