Bleachers Beaverton Sports Bars & Grill — Restaurant in Beaverton

I came into Bleachers for the first time the other day. The patrons of this establishment are very warm and welcoming, the same goes for most of the staff. However, the “bar manager” is a rude and oblivious fool. I went to use the restroom and she had bussed away my beer when it was half full, according to my girlfriend and friend, she didn’t even look at the beer and just took it anyways. When I returned and asked what happened to it, they told me that the waitress had taken it and that she was out on the back porch. I went out there and very politely explained the situation and they told me to tell the bartender to get me another one on the house, this was the first mistake. The so called manager should have not only taken ownership of the situation but also should have gotten me another half beer herself rather than having me wait in line again. So I go get the other beer and the situation seems resolved. I also didn’t say who it was that made the mistake, so I let the waitresses just hanging out on the back porch know that I didn’t tell who it was so that nobody gets in trouble because I didn’t want anybody to get in trouble as it was no harm no foul to me. However, I was then lectured about how it’s “not PC to call them waitresses” even through a waitress at a nice restaurant is a better job than a bartender at a dive bar. I was not trying to be offensive in any way, and for them to lecture me about being “PC” when not only am I the customer, but also calling a “bartender” who isn’t actually bartending a waitress isn’t remotely offensive, and if it is then get off your high horse, you’re not a rocket scientist. It completely ruined the experience, I actually had a really good time there but I will not be returning after that. I’ve already had enough of this overly PC world and for me to be lectured about it by the staff of an establishment, when I’m not even being offensive beyond a reasonable doubt in the first place, yeah that’s extremely infuriating to me, and so we left the establishment. There’s another dive bar down the road called Greek Village, so there’s no reason for me to go there ever again. HORRIFICALLY bad "Bar Karen" ruined evening

How difficult is it to prepare a simple Bloody Mary? Apparently it was beyond the ability of the "Bar Karen" who served us. She made the worst Boody Mary I have been served in decades. It was so bad, and so poorly made, I could not drink it. And FYI when it is winter and 35 degrees out you do NOT load a glass up with as much ICE as it can hold. A Boody Mary should be RED not "see through". If it is TRANSPARENT... you have put far too much ice into the glass. A properly made Bloody Mary should taste primarily of Tomato Juice. Her Bloody Mary was so full of Horseradish it tasted as if it was made just from Horseradish. Pretty nasty stuff with an odd metalic aftertaste and the burning sensation - I could not force it down.

I took the drink back to the Server andp politely asked if it could be remade. She moved into full "Bar Karen" mode. I excused myself and went back to my table. She followed my back to my table and began to lecture me about ME being rude. Seriously, I had had one of her horrifically bad coctails... I did not want another one. And, If she is so clueless she blames the Customer for her inability to do her basic job....

I like the staff, cool, mostly cool, consistency in being cool would be nice, but more importantly as a business owner when I see staff shutting down business hours earlier to the advertised hours like tonight it clearly shows open until midnight, only for me to be told upon waking in at 11:15pm “We’re Closed”, I ask that staffer bartender a question and she starts to answer, but stops mid sentence to flirt with some dude walking out, not only is she stealing from the owner by robbing him of a few hundred in extra sales as I have $200 to spend, but she also doubles down on her comedy of selfishness, sociopath are among us, thieves are among us, but to combine sociopath, con artist, with rude bar lady is a bad combo that won’t last long, have fun on the unemployment line as if any of my staff pull one of these tricks on my good paying patrons, I’ll cashapp your final paycheck, and tell her that the number rule working for my business is honor the deal, anyways, please update your closing hours so good paying patrons like myself don’t waste an Uber ride to your business only to be yelled to get to out, the nerve, and the higher review score is because I do like most the staff who made up for old lady mentioned above, and she’s fine, although I can tell she doesn’t like me, and that’s her right as I have my own, as we...
