On my trip through the store today I was not greeted by one single employee until I got to the checkout. I know it is right after the holiday rush, but a smile goes a long way in retail. As said in another review the LP with brown hair pretending to be on the phone was watching me and my special needs son from an end cap. I was a bit creeped out by them.. as in stalking type of creeped out. It looked like they were filming me! So odd. I agree with the other review that they need WAY MORE training to be a loss prevention employee. The reason I gave this store 5 stars was because of one person. As I stood in line I watched them engage with the customers and they were extremely warm and genuine. As my turn came they asked me how I was doing, we talked about different holidays, they told me a beautiful story of the hummingbird deer that they had as a tattoo.. all while being very efficient with bagging. They were personable and such a beautiful soul to be around. Their name was Magnus. I feel that management needs to give this person something special for being the only person who I saw smiling and making sure that your customers were treated amazingly. If I did not meet Magnus today, I can honestly say that I would not be shopping there again, so thank you Magnus for being you, and making that place more...
Read moreThis is definitely my go to location because it's so close to me and usually the staff is really nice but today I decided to write a review because I had three uncomfortable interactions in the course of 20 minutes.
The first one I was doing a return and the associate was thoroughly checking this brand new umbrella stroller so that it's not like anything really could've been missing whatever it is what it is I get you have to do your job, it was just the not offering a parting remark that really bothered me. I work in retail and it's not that hard.
Second, someone asked me if I needed help finding something and I said oh no thank you I'm just browsing and the most sarcastic response followed at least in the tone: "great enjoy yourself"
The last one is what really pushed me to write this review, another associate came up to me and said that they closed the store in 10 minutes, it was 940 and I'm pretty sure they don't close at 9:50… It was also interesting because nothing was announced over the store so that all customers could hear it?
Anyway, just a bunch of little things that lead up to one big thing it's like as soon as one thing happened another what happened and it just rubbed me the wrong way thanks for coming to my...
Read moreWhile I was in the store shopping, I was followed by a middle aged brunette woman who was completely obvious by the way, she even went so far as to pretend to be on the phone! Just thought I'd add that in so maybe she can get a bit more training! I ended up spending around $200 total during my visit, some of it spent after the woman stopped me at the door. I had bought many packages of your puppy pads, around 7 or 8 so they filled my cart. While I was shopping, I had grabbed clothes to try on, and used the dressing room. I received an emergency call an needed to leave! I left everything I was trying on an hurried to pay for my things. To my discovery however, they only provide one sized bag. You could however pay $5.99 and get a larger bag. So I had asked the clerk if I may take the cart outside, which was ok. As I began to leave I was stopped being asked for receipt. I had no issues providing it. She began to look through my cart picking up each item as she went. There was a set of earrings and necklace caught on the bottom of the cart. She asked if I wanted to pay at customer service. Which I did. They should stop being so judgemental and profile those that actually are shopping. I spent my...
