Seems like a good neighborhood location at first. Clean, consistent, popular hangout/meet up place for middle schoolers down the street. The problem is that the staff are extremely biased. It was the last day of school, so a good chunk of the 1,500 people in the school were at the small village it's located in, and my friends wanted to go get a snack. When we were going there though, we saw some students leaving the establishment, saying they were kicked out for having Starbucks. I didn't think much of it, since they were pretty rowdy, so we went in. When we went in, I definitely noticed the lack of people. The other stores were extremely crowded, and we had to wait nearly an hour in a boba shop not nearly as popular. When we got in, we waited in line, and some of the group decided to order, and the other half- including me decided to search for a seat. (keep in mind that there were only 4 of us, so it wasn't a horde of middle schoolers or anything.) Right when we found a seat, we were scolded by the cleaning lady to "Get out", and that she "Didn't want Starbucks.(We were holding boba)". I told her that we bought food, and were not, in fact, going to Taco Bell just to eat outside food. She left us with a "Don't let your Hot Cheetos get all over the place." We decided to go to another seat, more directly in front of the counter, to seem more transparent, and not take up a bigger seat than we needed. When we were all situated, we waited an abnormally long time for 3 nacho fries. To my knowledge, they seem straightforward to make. You just fry them, and it's not like we ordered 3 completely separate things, that would understandably take a while. While we were in the long wait, we talked about the questionable service here. Some of us expressed our worry that we would be kicked out, essentially for being middle schoolers. One of our friends told us not to worry, and that, because we ordered and paid, they would have no reason to kick us out, and if we did, we could just ask for a refund. While we had this conversation, I noticed the cleaning lady stare at us at one of my friends heard her ask the man running the cash register "What did they order?" He said back, "Three Nacho fries." Kind of shady. Finally when our order was ready, (it came after #258 and #259 when our order was #257) we had a good time, talking to each other. I don't hate the cleaning lady considering the many middle schoolers that come into her store, I just think that she could've handled the situation better. The rest of the staff were really nice and recognized us as just wanting to celebrate...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreBefore I give my review I want to share that I used to work for taco bell and know how to prep and make the food and have been to many taco bells in the area to see which ones are worth stopping into...
I stopped in at this location at about 6:30pm, there were a few cars in the parking lot but an empty drive thru so I went thru the drive thru. I ordered 2 cheesy gordita crunches with no lettuce, 3 regular crunchy tacos with easy-lettuce and add sour cream and 1 caramel apple empanada. I noticed the screen showed my order correctly except for the easy lettuce so I nicely repeated " and easy lettuce on the tacos please", the man taking my order says "yeah I got it", so i pulled forward to pay and the man at the window didnt open the window for 4-5 minutes, I thought maybe they had to cook a caramel apple empanada... nope. I get home to find that there is no sour cream on my tacos and they gave me less meat than the regular scoop amount that they're supposed to and the ground beef was past the expiration time that it should be on the hot plate. It was dried out. ( Taco Bell has a food safety regulation where they color code the food with different colored stickers which tells them when to take the food off the rack and replace it with fresh food- and dry taco meat means it was definitely way past that time. ) the tacos were basically empty it was mostly shell when chewing and the caramel apple empanada wasn't even warm let alone having just been cooked. I'm pretty disappointed in this particular location as I thought they might actually care being by the nice shopping center and I am definitely not going back, I'd rather drive all the way to Forest Grove for a taco - Actually the best taco bell out of all the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI've revised my previous 1-star review because today the service I received here was much better. But I've left that old review below... My 3-star rating today is an aggregate from my 1-star experience previously and today's maybe 4-star experience.
Everything was great today in terms of service, food, etc.
The only thing I'd say is this warning to guests: maybe don't come here between 2:15 and 4:00. This place seems to be the default babysitter for a few dozen roudy obnoxious junior high kids to aggregate here after school lets out. Not a fun place to be during that time. Not fully Taco Bell's fault. Although they could probably kick out the several kids who are just sitting in seats with no Taco Bell food or drink. They're just loitering. But apparently TB doesn't have the fortitude to deal with that. Nevertheless, several of this rowdy bunch does seem to have TB food or drink. So I guess TB can't do much about that. It's just hella loud and annoying for any other guests.
I see why they have a two-star rating. Service here SUCKS!
Only two people in the dining room, drive through is slow. It's the middle of the afternoon. Slow. 5-6 employees here and in 30 minutes since I mentioned it, they can't change out the syrup for the drinks that are not working at the fountain?
30 minutes ago I heard, "Ok. Thank you. We'll get someone to fix that for you." Apparently they meant after I...
