I placed an order last night, and when it arrived the food was cold, not prepared correctly, and even cut wrong. This is the third time this has happened in just the past couple of months, so I finally decided to call the restaurant to see if there was something I could do on my end to make sure my order is right going forward.
I always request my pizza to be well done and triangle cut, but the manager on duty basically admitted that they’ve been getting complaints about this recently. Instead of apologizing or offering a solution, he told me they are “super busy” and that his staff is simply used to doing things a certain way. His suggestion? That I should start ordering my pizza uncut and cut it myself at home.
When I asked how they would even notice my request for an uncut pizza if they already can’t follow the notes I put in, he became argumentative. I also asked about the pizza being undercooked and cold, and he told me that I should just preheat my oven and finish cooking it myself because his team “doesn’t have the extra time” to make a well-done pizza. He even said that’s what he tells everyone who orders well-done—basically telling me to expect a take-and-bake experience after paying full price for delivery.
At that point I told him that if I wanted to cook my own pizza at home, I’d just order from Papa Murphy’s. For a manager to dismiss clear customer instructions and suggest I do part of the cooking myself is not only unprofessional, but honestly insulting.
Needless to say, I won’t be ordering from this location again. I’ve already reached out to another location to try and speak with the owner directly, and I’m waiting...
Read moreI have been a loyal customer of Marcos for years but have been very disappointed in their service for the last few months. I have had to return orders or receive credit multiple times for orders not done correctly. I recently ordered a veggie pizza with no cheese at all and the pizza had more cheese than I have ever seen on any pizza. Tonight I ordered a Veggie sub that the first ingredient is supposed to be mushrooms, there were no mushrooms and other toppings like lettuce was missing as well. The sandwich was just over 4.5 inches and it’s supposed to be 6”. It was literally a peace of bread loaded with diced onions, diced bell peppers, 3 thin slices of tomato, and a couple of banana peppers and sub dice which made it soggy. I couldn’t even eat it. I was offered a $10 credit on my account but that does not help me when I’m sitting at home hungry. I always too good after they charge $5 for delivery so the $10 credit isn’t really making up for anything. They will still charge me a delivery fee and more when I get ready to use that credit. The last time this happened it was on Super Bowl Sunday and I being the only Vegan in my home had to watch everyone else eat after my pizza was delivered wrong, that was me tonight eating watermelon after this mess up. Marcos please do better or I will definitely be looking for...
Read moreI never had issues with this store until tonight. I ordered at 6:45pm for carry-oit through the app. It said it would be ready by 7:20pm. They told me at 7:15 pm it wasn't ready. I sat for a while. At 7:35pm I had a notification the order was ready. I stepped to the counter and they said it just went onto the oven at 7:33pm. So why send me a notification that it was ready when they just put it in the oven? Then when I asked, the guy seemed like he didn't care. Poor customer service this evening.
Then after I waited, they missed up on one of my pizzas. They left the cbicken off my bbq chicken pizza. They said it would be another 30 minute wait to get my right pizza. They didn't even say anything to me. I had to overhear it and ask what was wrong. So I said cancel my order and refund my money. The guy who went to refund my money, I was rude with. I told him that I was sorry, that I was stressed over my daughter in the hospital. His response was we all have things going in our life so I had no reason to be rude. I apologized again and asked him to forgive me. He said no and that he will remember my name and the store manager may ban me from ever using their service again. So I guess Marco's lost a loyal customer because I order at least once or twice a month and I am being banned for being frustrated...
