I would give 3.5, but that's not an option.

I hate writting negative about any restaurant, esp when they're trying to survive after covid. So I'll start positive. I love Woody's. Food is decent, alcohol prices are not bad at all, service is generally par or above.

With that said, you HAVE TO cater to your clients or you lose them. I left today and went to your competition. And I will now do the same 2 days a week that I SHOULD be spending at your bar when I actually prefer yours.

Monday night football. There was about 20 plus customers in the bar. 6 were sitting at the bar and probably half of them were watching the game. The REST of us were sitting at tables all watching the football game, there for that SOLE purpose. Our table as well as the one next to us asked for volume up to watch the game. Server very reluctantly says no. "Management does not view us as a sports bar. We keep the juke box on."

I get completely and wouldn't even dream of asking to change the atmosphere had I or even only a few of us wanted the game volume. But literally 2/3rds of your bar were there for one purpose; to watch a Monday night game. ZERO people were putting money in the juke box and the mix of music that the box randomly plays did not even met the crowd.

There was supposed to be 4 more friends that were gonna watch football with us but once they heard we were going to your bar, they said "NOPE, They won't even entertain playing game volume." I didn't believe them.

I gave you a shot. They were right. I'm still a customer on occasion but you lost hundred$ our group would happily spend each week in your...

This used to be my boyfriend and i’s go to spot. Once a week we would enjoy a late night dinner here for the last 6-8 months. Unfortunately, the primary driver of my interest was in this one particular burger they had until the recent menu change, and therefore this place went to my favorite in the area to not having a reason to go there unless it is the only option. The burger, The Woody Burger, was quite literally the best burger I’ve ever had in my life and I do not leave reviews frequently and do not make claims like that lightly. I told so many friends about this burger and would pay more money for it if it meant it was back on the menu again.

The vibes are great here, wait staff and bartenders are so friendly and I love that they are open late and serve food late because many places in the area do not. The new burgers on the menu are mid and tasty but not amazing. The chips and salsa are great. The Woody burger had a very particular sauce on it that made it unique and extra tasty.

There are some other “okay” items on the menu that I have enjoyed, and I’m not picky haha, but that burger had my heart so please bring it back :) I understand what I’m assuming the business reason behind the menu change was, but still take my review into consideration :)

Indoor bar and grill with even better outdoor ambiance. Had a few drinks with good friends. Definitely come back to try something to eat. 9-2-22 Came back the next day for lunch and football Sunday. Service was pretty terrible and food was just as bad. Had to order our own food at the bar, it took a while to get in and when it did it was cold. Definitely over priced. The establishment was showing several games on several different TV's. Only down side was they could only stream the sound from one TV. When I asked if they could change it to the Texas team playing (because we're in Texas) they said they were unable to because it would disrupt the other TV's and it would cause a problems. I even asked if they could alternate the sound intermittently and the answer was no. Mind you, multiple people made this request and got the same answer. So essentially we were staring at a TV with no sound. I will give em 2 stars for this visit and will not be back. I recommend The league kitchen & tavern. Service was a lot better and so...
