Suttle's Road Hog BBQ — Restaurant in Beebe

It’s been awhile since I’ve had treatment like this at a restaurant but people of color especially, beware of this place. I entered this establishment and it was a group of six ahead of me. The hostess politely told them, “ I’m so sorry but just give me a minute to clean you all off a table.” She seated them, came back to the hostess stand and asked me, “What can I do for you?” I’m like, I’m dining in. she was like oh! and then turned to her co-worker and asked her, “Don’t we close at 7pm? It was 7:10pm at the time. Her co-worker reminded her that they have another hour until they close. So, the same hostess said, let me get you a table cleaned off. She cMe back and seated me. I sat for at least 15 minutes and. no one ever came to take my order and before that, she did bring me water but that also took several minutes before she finally disappeared totally. I finally got up and was about to walk out and one of the girls that worked there said, oh, we never did get your order did we, I gave her that smirk you give someone like yeah right and walked out! This was a place that’s all white in every facet of the word and that night I was the only person of color in there. Take my advice, this was the most blatant racism I’ve seen in awhile. My daughter was hired on to be a server. She quickly realized she had been tricked into being a table buster/food server/drink filler for two women, who Im assuming are making the tips. She was never going to be a server.

To the “horrible other 5 we fired” I’m genuinely sorry from the bottom of my heart.

Coming from someone who worked in the food industry many years this is not appropriate behavior - but it seems you got the good end of the deal - as you don’t have to be treated like garbage anymore.

Aside from that, My family and I have never dined here before. We sat tonight and waited a long time for our food. My husband and son feel fine but I have been nauseous ever since we left this restaurant.

I don’t know what has hurt my stomach maybe it was the season on the fries or my anger due to the fact I sat for an hour and a half and watched my kid and other kids be taken advantage of. I heard the rude comments ladies, I am incredibly disappointed.

I am the first to call my kids out on their bad behavior. It’s hard to do that when adults are acting just as bad.

Your employees and customers deserve better.

Some of the best BBQ in the area!! I absolutely love their pulled pork! I only get it to-go though, because I have had too many negative experiences inside dining. I find the food delightful, but the system they use (or really don't use)- on which pies has been sold, is not very effective.. I have 2x tried to get peanut butter pie, & was charged for it, but later told that it had been sold to someone else. The person I was with got the dessert each time that happened, because I only wanted the peanut butter pie. Then one day my boyfriend went up there for lunch, & was with a group of people from work- him and another guy didn't get their orders till right before they literally left.. & he had to hurry, & scarf his lunch before going to teach because of this... I understand that tickets get lost, but I also understand good customer service. They weren't offered a refund, nor discount for next time he came in. That just didn't set with me well at all, because that tells me- they weren't sorry & they did not care. Definitely do not recommend dine in, but I'll continuously come...
