One of the worst experiences I've ever had at a restaurant. It wasn't so much our waiter (who was new) as the kitchen and the manager. We were here today (Father's Day 2017). We arrived at 2:00 PM, were seated by 2:20 and didn't get our food until 3:40. Yes, you read that right. No, the restaurant wasn't super busy. We watched other patrons come and go while we waited for our entrees. We were ready to leave, but the manager took 45 minutes to come out and speak to us. We didn't walk out of the door until 5:05.
My lemonade came in a dirty glass that had food in it.
To be fair, the manager discounted our bill a few dollars, but her effort and words were extremely halfhearted. I felt as if she didn't want to deal with us. Had I felt that she actually cared, I would have been fine, but she didn't and here I am. I will also formally be complaining with corporate. We had multiple tabs on our table, and I was charged for someone else's meal. Others were charged wrong amounts.
At no point were we unreasonable, loud, belligerent or difficult to deal with. There was no reason for the poor service.
It was an overall bad experience. Chili's Bel Air had a chance to put a great cap on a fantastic Father's day. Instead, our dinner party walked out fuming and upset. I will not be eating here again unless...
Read moreOk so the appetizer which was the triple dipper with fried pickles, Southwestern egg rolls, and fried cheese balls or something like that was the only decent thing we had. The pickles were not really fried properly the breading was soaked in grease and very soggy as if they dropped them in before the grease was hot enough. I ordered chicken fajitas with rice and beans and my rice was burnt. The chicken was grilled and bland and they put this chipotle butter stuff on it but it was overpowered by the burnt taste. Basically the bottom of my food was all burnt except for the beans which were in a bowl. My daughter's grilled cheese was dry and hard as if they put it in a toaster oven for too long and my husband's bbq platter was dry as well. The ribs were dry, the brisket was disrespectful to the great state of Texas where I'm from and overall I just did not enjoy my meal. Our server kept wiping his hands on his shirt and licking his fingers which was gross. We won't be back. Worst part is I spent 72 bucks plus tip on subpar food and service. What a waste. This chilli's used to be good just a few months ago, I don't know what went wrong but they need to get...
