I have never been treated this badly by a business before. Dont waste a breath in this place, here is why. After sitting down we ordered Bangin shrimp, one ceasar salad with steak and one spinach salad with steak. Our shrimp came out and was good but they left the tails on fried shrimp. Coated in sauce, the tails were not a nice suprise. Our waitress brought our initial drinks and never asked us if we needed more. Her disregard for us was appalling. She walked by us more than four times, I even placed my empty glass on the edge of the table, yet we were once again ignored. We ran out of drinks while we ate our appetizer. She never came over and asked if we were ok, or even worried that our food wasnt out yet. After watching two tables, both with much larger parties, who were also sat after us get their food, drink refills- finally after forty minutes the food runner brought out the salads and I wasnt even hungry anymore. I asked him to take it back because we had waited forty minutes for two salads and watched everyone who was sat after us get, pizza, steak and burgers. While our salads were never made. He was polite and said both salads would would be comped and the manager would come see us. He left the salad my girlfriend ordered for her to to eat because she was hungry. We watched the waitress walk by six more times not checking on us but going and talking to her friends hanging out. Finally we asked for our bill and we noticed extra charges that shouldnt have been on the bill. When inquiring with our waitress she got an attitude, sucked her teeth at us and stormed off. The polite food runner came over once again and asked if the manager had come by and that he talked to him and the manager stated both salads would be comped. That wasnt the case so I asked to see the manager. He walked over and I explained my frustrations due to lack of service and having to wait forty minutes for salads. He had the nerve to argue it wasn't forty minutes but thirty two minutes. Ok, maybe from when our order was placed in the computer but we sat there for at least ten minutes before our waitress even came over. I couldn't believe his audacity and his attitude. Our waitress came back over with an attitude like she had been made to wait on us. I paid our bill but that will be the last time I ever set foot in any establishment owned by them. Looneys staff acted like they were doing us a favor by letting us spend our money there. Its a shame, all we wanted was to enjoy dinner and drinks, yet we were treated with an air of unconcern and listlessness that made me realize I have had better service at McDonald's. Please train your staff on courtesy and professionalism. It will allow for a more...

I had the Corned Beef + Cabbage, also great, but my friend's Bangers n Mash stole the show. Irish Coffee was delicious + flavorful. We shared the Brownie Cheesecake which was the perfect finishing touch.
The place was packed but our server was prompt, attentive + friendly. I like the variety of choices on their menu. The Mgr. stopped at each table to see if everything was to our satisfaction.
A Note of Improvement: The Tacos. I would love to see a variety of 3 Tacos on 1 order (Rockfish, Salmon + Tuna, OR Ground Beef, GRILLED Chicken + Steak). They do not offer Ground Beef Tacos nor a Variety platter. All 3 Tacos must be the same. Boring. You can order Cabbage on them to replace lettuce. No Corn Salsa.
Their Tacos do NOT come w Rice nor a Side Dish (like Asparagus) or Salad. For $13-14, a side dish should reasonably be included to turn it into a meal rather than just 3 Tacos. No Crunchy Taco Shells are offered, only the usual plain soft, carb-loaded tortillas. For Diabetics, you might want to skip this dish.
Why not offer Crunchy or even Garlic Butter Grilled Tortillas? Ppl love Taco Platters + this is a menu item that could be vastly improved. Ditto for the Quesdillas.
I enthusiastically recommend Looney's Pub Bel Air especially for their special St. Patty's Day Menu offerings + prompt, friendly table service. And, definite improvements could be made to their Taco + Quesadilla "platters" offered to make them 5-Star dishes instead of a ho- hum 2-3 Stars....
Read moreMy partner and I hit pubs when we travel because she likes to test local beers and I like pub food--generally hamburgers. This place missed on both. Even as a dive bar but this one left a lot to be desired. They may be trying to be too many things. The menu is overloaded with variety. Then they added a brunch menu. Not satisfied, they added a game day menu when the Orioles play. The items appeared to be items served at Camden Yards. That seemed original so I opted for a choice from that menu. I had a two Pollack Johnnys hotdogs which resulted in my sending an entrée back for only the second time in my 67 years. I had ordered it plain but got it loaded with sauce. When I finally got the dogs, they were lukewarm; the heated rolls were warmer. I guess they were trying to emulate what one might get from a hawker in the bleachers. As for the dogs, they were mediocre at best. I hope they are not what people get stuck with at an Orioles' game. My partner had the seafood boat. The chunks of seafood were pretty good but she said the cream sauce was just ok. She had a craft beer but she had to guess about her choice since no information about the beers except name was available. Still the beer was ok.
The restroom was consistent with the dive bar ambience--cleaner than a 1950's gas station restroom but beat up and well used. One positive was the massive number of TVs. Unlike many bars they were showing a wide variety of sports including such non-mainstream sports such as bicycle racing. The waitress did check...
