JJ’s Grill Bella Vista — Restaurant in Bella Vista

I gave a three star rating on the food but to be fair, this food review is only on the wings. I have had the fish and chips here and they are great! My mom is British and I lived briefly in England as a child and know good fish and chips. First, the service was great! My server was Jessica at the bar and she was fantastic! She was attentive and friendly. I’m a people watcher and saw how she interacted with her customers and she was genuine. Now for the food… I love wings and am always looking for good wings. Granted, I only tried the garlic Parmesan and Nuclear so I have yet to try the other flavors. I love spicy but the nuclear were not spicy at all. For those looking for a more detailed description, the nuclear tasted like they were drenched in Louisiana hot sauce or Texas Pete. The garlic Parmesan were very garlicky but the Parmesan must have hurdled right over the wings, missing the wings completely. I also ordered onion rings and the rings were great. After picking up our to go order all i could think was "Wow if that's how you treat people you think are door dash drivers, we'll never be back." Absolutely rude and disrespectful. Plus our food was cold even though I showed up on time for pickup. We chose to pick up from a local restaurant, and you're stuck ordering through door dash paying ridiculous fees. Even with that I still tip 15%. The waitress didn't great me. Just How many? , no smile no pleasantries. I said I'm here to pick up a to go order. "Oh door dash?" With a lot of disgust. "Well I ordered through door dash." She brought my bags out on one finger and handed it to me at arms distance as if I were dirt. Took no time to make sure I had everything or if I needed anything else. And no ending pleasantries. I was your customer. I tip really well. If you aren't getting the tips on those orders, talk to your boss. Not my fault or problem. If you thought I was your door dash driver, I could still be your customer. Treat them with respect. Was there on a Saturday night, and they were pretty busy, but they seated us quickly. Server was nice but very distracted. She forgot us after taking our drink order and apologized when she remembered us. Unfortunately, service didn't improve after that. We had ordered an appetizer, which arrived with two of our entrees AFTER my husband's entree was delivered. Hubby really enjoyed his wings and kept talking about them later. The jalapeno taquito appetizer was good, not great. Daughter didn't enjoy the chicken fried steak, she said the breading was too thick. I ordered the famous burger, but the bun was stale, and I ended up eating just the meat. My onion rings were the star of the show for me. Had to flag the server down multiple times to get the check.
