I ordered my 2 pizzas at 5:39 PM. I called at 6:20 PM to speak to someone about the delivery time since my pizza hut tracker was frozen. The first person who answered had me on hold for approximately 5 minutes, and he was kind and told me it would be around an hour wait from my order time. I understood because it was busy. I called back at 6:52 to a belligerent man who then told me it would be an extra 34 minutes. I'm upset at this point because my food had not left and I'm not sure how long it had been sitting waiting for delivery. I told him I would no longer order from them because his rude attitude made me more upset. I called back at 6:55 to speak to the manager and the same belligerent man awnsered and told me his manager was busy and that he needed to be busy too and that it would get there in the time he told me before. I think he told the manager my name from caller ID, and he asked what it was in regards to and I told him it was him. He told me I could talk to him about it to which I refused because I wanted to speak to the manager. I told him I am a paying customer and that his store has my money so I would like to speak to the manager to which he hung up the phone on me. I called back again and got the same person who argued but then I finally got to speak to the manager. I explained I am trying to feed my 3 children and the wait time lengthened a considerable amount and the person who answered was extremely rude. He apologized and sent my food out with the next driver. The food arrived. Thank goodness! But then I opened the box to find our thin crust pepperoni pizza was somewhat cold and rock hard in the middle. At this point my kids are starving so I cut around the hard parts and give it to them. I just can't believe that this pizza was just made and delivered. The lack of respect blew my mind as well. If you don't want to deal with customers, don't go into the hospitality industry! I know it doesn't matter if I don't order from them anymore since they are a chain, but at least I won't have to deal with 2 hour wait mediocre pizza anymore....
Read more11-02-2018 = The worst customer service and satisfaction for the customer I have ever seen. I placed my order for carry out, paid with a debit card, the television that shows how long it will be, was at 45 minutes. I leave, come back in 45 minutes, and the television still shows 30 minutes until ready! I asked what the issue was, and was told they had an issue with the ovens. I then ask, "you have my phone #, why wouldn't you call and tell me"! The answer was "we've been so busy, how are we to do that?" I asked for a refund, and was told the Manager will do it later. I asked to see the Manager and was told it would be a minute. After 5 minutes, I asked about it and was told it had been done!!?? I asked, "why didn't you inform me"? All I got was a blank stare. I left, bought food elsewhere. I looked at my bank account, and no reversal of changes was showing. I went back to the store and asked for a copy of the receipt showing the refund. I was told "We can't do that." A nice young man that works there called store support and was told it could be up to 3 days before I see it. That is ludicrous, to say the least. No wonder Pizza Hut is struggling for Business. Never again!!! But I do plan on calling corporate. I have posted two videos of the experience. I wish I would have recorded from the beginning. Go with Domino's, and their tracker. Update January 2019. Gave them another shot. And I placed an order online at noon today. the website estimated 20-30 minute delivery. An hour later I inquired and was told by the General Manager, Diane Wright, told me she only had 1 driver scheduled ( note that she was not short handed). I was upset and requested a refund on principle alone. Diane Wright then hung up on me. I attempted to call again and they literally didn't answer. I called corporate and she told them she had drivers and admitted that Diane Wright, as GM, can easily adjust estimated delivery times. she didn't take the time.
