JK's Boathouse Food & Spirits — Restaurant in Belleville

This establishment is a public nuisance. I live in an apartment next to this pub and it's a torture by night. Especially on the weekends, I can't sleep till 2am because this place gets so freakin loud. Their building appears to be sound-proof, but every time the door open and close, I hear loud burst of music that disturbs my sleep. There are always drunk crowd hanging out in the front creating a lot of noise. Sometimes they get into an obnoxious fight and the police come to stop them. If I had a Genie who can grant me a wish, I would ask him to close this place...

I would like to give this place five stars BUT the fact that they allow dart playing direct at the front of the bar, makes it super dangerous. ESPECIALLY when people are trying to sing karaoke on Thursdays. The dart players get aggressive and shove singers out of their way and I was personally pushed last time I was there by a very muscular man. I am afraid to get hit by a dart OR beat up by the dart players lol. Why not have the darts at the back? Seems very dangerous and could mean possible law suits if anyone is hit with a dart and injured....

Mac and cheese was tasteless and lacked the crispy cheese top that is the best part about Mac and cheese. BUT this is a really nice bar, and the food other people were having looked like it might be better than what I got. The bar maid was top-notch. She made sure everyone in the bar was well attended to, even though the place was packed, she got everyone taken care of and was very pleasant about it. It's a cozy place, they get live bands in there sometimes, which is a BIG plus. So overall, I LIKE this bar and will go there...
