Hello. So the incident with the Subway owner. I arrived to the restaurant and then my phone went black i couldn't turn it on call or cancel the delivery to get someone else to pick it up and deliver it. Come inside the restaurant and tell my situation and ask if they could call the uber customer service to get someone else to take it. While I'm saying all this to the worker lady the owner is listening and tells me that the uber pad they have at the place doesn't do that. I told him there should be something on there to help people when these situations happen. He told me no. Then i asked if i could use someones phone to call them my self and he rudely told me that why would i deliver food if my phone doesn't work. I told him that this is the first time my phone done this. He huffed and puffed and eventually gave me the phone. When i was talking to uber service i wasn't on the phone more than a minute before he came up to me and very impatiently told me he will talk to them to give him the phone so as i was telling them that the owner wants to talk to them he said to me that he wasn't an owner he was a manager. Which later on i found out from you guys that he was an owner he just lied to me. Then he snatches the phone from my ear and i ask him why is he being so rude. He started yelling at me to leave the store while pushing his body against mine. I told him that he needs to back off bc he was literally pushing me out with his body agains mine and almost touching his face to mine. There were two employees that were ladies and two customers that were men that witnessed all this. I left after that. Its not right for people to treat other people this way when all i tried to do is to make sure the person gets his food and on top of it make money for...
Read moreI placed an online order on the app. I reached for pick up before the scheduled time. There was no one in the store when I reached. But someone came in just after me. The employee asked me if it was okay that he make the order for the customer who just came in before they made mine. I said that would be okay. Once he started preparing my order I was standing at the counter to see if they had any questions. They were rude and constantly complaining why I was standing. Then started talking to their colleague in Spanish thinking that I wouldn't understand it. They just said things like why is the person here ordering with a deal and making us make a sandwich and then expecting service. At that point of time I asked to talk to their manager. The employee called their manager and the response from the manager was I am not going to come in or talk on the phone. If you want you can register a complaint online. I have been to this store multiple times. I have not had any issues apart from this particular employee. Even once before this they were very rude. But I let that go considering it was a one off thing. The employee wouldn't even tell me their name and said I should do what I want. But the managers name is Martin. I wasn't even provided a receipt after that. I had to figure out the details of the store online. I am not sure if anyone is going to take this complaint seriously online. Since the store manager wasn't interested. But this is worst possible experience considering that I was nothing but polite when I came in. Treating a customer this horribly...
Read moreI'm surprised to see other people leaving negative reviews here because over the past 3-4 months I've come to the tentative conclusion that this is the best subway restaurant of the 20+ I've visited at one point or another in te Greater Seattle area these past 3 years. And lukckily it is also one of the nearest to where I currently live in Bellevue.
At least 3 of the employees here (an asian lady, a bigger guy, and an Indian man) are very friendly and funny. The Indian was very bug on trying to upsell me (as if he worked on commission or something), but in his defense I did accept the first upsell so maybe that's why he kept going. In any case, he was extremely nice about it, and we had a good conversation.
Another woman I saw working there today was extremely good at remembering what vegetables I mentioned. I said it rather quickly, and she impressed me by knowing the exact ones without even needing to ask for clarity.
There's only one young man working here with whom I wasn't impressed. I think he was Indian too, but younger than the funny and social guy. But hey, a 4/5 success rate in terms of great Subway employees is really great. I can tell the owner of this location cares who he or she is hiring.
Oh yeah, and they have Cherry Coke in their drink machine. And they also have a power outlet on the wall under one of the small tables. It's nice for charging my phone after I've just taken a walk around...
